Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This is going to be Week 52, Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last week Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is, “AS A PARENT”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “RURAL OR URBAN”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their preferences when it came to living arrangements. They told us if they lived in a rural or urban area and how they found them.
We got o see the choices many of us would make if faced with the decision to change location. Many would move to the rural and many would move to the urban. In the end, it is all about choices.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w51e3 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. I WOULDN’T WANT AN AREA LIKE THIS BECAUSE OF THESE REASONS by @princessbusayo
This author told us about how she has had the privilege of living in both rural and urban areas. She currently stays in the city, and it is in a school area dominated mostly by students which explained some of the developments there. If she had the opportunity, she would move to a more developed area, where she would be able to connect physically with people of like mind.
This author told us about he lives in his hometown which is a rural community. He talked about the differences between living in the city and living in the village, from infrastructure to socializing. There are benefits to living in one area over the other, and in the same way, there are demerits as well. In the end, it all comes down to what the individual wants.
I PREFER TO LIVE IN COUNTRYSIDE FOR SEVERAL REASONS by @idayrus
For this author, he lives in a rural environment with his family. He has been doing so right from childhood till now that he is an adult. He finds it comfortable because of the close proximity of most of his relatives, ease of doing business, and ease of life in general. Even if he goes to the Urban area, he would stay for a while and return to the village. He finds it better there.

“We all experienced childhood, and many of us hope to experience parenthood. Some of us are parents already. However, there were many things that we did or were allowed to happen to us as kids, that now we are parents we can't allow. What are those things? What are the things you did as a child or were done to you as a child that you won't do to your child today? What about the ones you won't allow them to do? And why?”
