- A lot is happening in this world these days and you get to know people you claim as your friends, supporters, or families are not because you will be left alone when you need them.
Two students contested for the position of departmental president in my department at college. Today which was the day everyone that wanted them in power is to vote there had always been a lot of people hailing one so-called guy whose name is Tobiloba in my department. They will all hail him and starts shouting his name anytime he comes up in class saying it’s him they are going to vote for and he is the one they want In power. Truth be said, the guy deserves the position because he was a nice guy and always ready to help anyone that need help academically in the department.

My coursemates said they don’t want the other guy in power because he is harsh or maybe he has some character they don’t like. Days, and months passed by and it was a lot of my level mates shouting they will come on the day of the election to vote for Tobiloba the person they wanted.
The day of the election came today and I felt like crying for this guy that my coursemate and his so-called college friends promise heaven and earth that they are going to show up and vote for him because it was just 20 people including me that show up and the rest that has promised to come vote for him didn’t.
Most of them give excuses for travelling for a wedding outside the state or an event and others complain of headaches, and not feeling strong to come.
Fear people!
Too bad my battery was down at that very moment I would have taken the pictures of those students that show up for Tobiloba who they claim they love and want in the position of ESA president. Well, the person who they all don’t want wins because they all didn’t come to vote for the person they said they want.
One of the students complains and talks to them all in a pidgin language that they are not good people and that what they did by not coming to vote is not good.

That’s how life is, you get to know the person who truly loves you when you need help because when you don’t they all come to claim to love you.

Yeah people can be that way sadly, they pretend like they care so much about you but most times they are all lies...just like the popular saying "a friend in need is a friend in deed".
Atleast now he know those who really care for him. And this is a message in disguise NOT ALL THOSE WHO CLAIM TO BE YOUR FRIENDS ARE ACTUALLY YOUR FRIENDS!💔
I am very sure he learnt a big lesson and know people who cares for him now.

We all learn lessons as we grow, this is a normal in my school. We are currently been ruled by someone we do not like because of such act.
