Phew π€π₯π this is the first time I am feeling handicapped on a topic lol, I have been at it for hours lol or should I say since yesterday lol, I thought I was the only one who has short knowledge of what to write on this topic DEJA VU lol, after checking out the community to engage on others post thinking of having their post to be a motivation to start up my own lol, I got there and I saw only one tenth of the whole hive learners who have done their edition 2 prompt lol, I couldn't stop laughing in my head...
I finally decided to sleep over it and think of what to write today lol, the painful aspect is that I have had countless experience with DEJA VU but I don't know how to go about my post on sharing my deja vu experience lol but what can I do lol, I have to start from somewhere, it is what it is lol...
I guess some of my fellow writers are also having this trouble or have had this trouble but let's see if my post will inspire them on how to approach the edition 2 prompt which is based on DEJA VU...
With google as my source, I found out that the word deja vu means the feeling of having already experienced a present situation sometime in the past...
Thinking about it now lol, I have had so many deja vu experiences in the past lol and now I am getting all the words i need to start up this post, wow I guess my motivation and inspiration to write is back this morning...

I FELT A SIMILAR SPARK...
I remember vividly me sharing a painful yet funny story of how our snail hunting went wrong, it went wrong for my brother in particular but not me for me because he was the one who got hurt in the buttocks lol, today I am going to share my own similar experience with you all...
About 10 years ago lol, I was still young then but not too young lol, back then I already know the difference between fair girls and dark skinned girl's lol, this means I know the difference between wright and wrong...
I stayed in a face me I slap you community throughout my childhood and that means there were many kids in our environment who were the same age as me back then, we had different age grades in my house that particular year and one day we had a heavy and storming rainfall, as kids we all wanted to play our hearts out in the rain but because there was heavy thunder striking lol, our parents didn't allow us to enjoy the rainfall and we all decided to go snail hunting when the rain eventually stops, it sounded like a plan and some hours later that rain finally came to alt and we all ventured into the uncompleted building next to our house and we went with bowls and buckets to hunt for snails...
We were all expecting to pick up plenty snails because of the heavy rainfall, we started our hunt and we as we predicted we started picking up both big and small snails and after I realized all the big snails are being found on a straight line pattern, I decided to follow that pattern till the end not knowing what was waiting for me upfront lol...
I moved up a bit further and with leaves covering everywhere I could barely see my path, i was no longer walking on the floor but on the fence and it got to a point where I needed to jump across the other side to pick up the big snails over there...
I decided to test my jumping skills and the moment I made up my mind to jump across, I felt the adrenaline shot running in my body and I gave it a shot, the next thing I heard and saw was me on the other side of the fence facing the ground lol...
What happened and how it happened were the questions in my head that day, for seconds I didn't know what happened to me, I wasn't feeling any pains but I could see myself on the floor, the moment I tried to stand up on my two feet I felt this stinging pain from my thighs to my legs, it was at this moment I had a flashback of what happened to me, I realized I missed my step while landing after jumping and I fell over the fence...
The bricks gave me some good scratching and marks from my thighs to my leg and it stung a lot that I had to give up snail hunting that day and I was treated by mum that day after several insults lol...
After some weeks I got better and the memory of how I got injured while going on snail hunting faded away like it never happened, I had some scars but I didn't remember again...
For months I didn't go snail hunting again because I had left my location to my aunts place, it took me time to find my way around that place and after some months I finally know everywhere in her street and there was a heavy rainfall on a particular day and all the kids in her compound decided to go hunt for snails after the rain stops...
I also wanted to tag along because it's been a while I had snail, we all decided to go and it was at this moment we all dressed and went out with our gears and equipments to hunt for snails...
The same way it happened lol, thanks to my past experience, my subconsciousness kept on telling me to go for the small snails, I followed my sub consciousness and I went for the small snails...
The next thing I had was; qudus, teni, temmy, ayomide, bolu come and see big snails, we all rushed out and saw big snails indeed...
They were all going on a straight line patten like the one that happened with me lol, I told them I will pick the small ones and my friend volunteered to keep on going that lane to pick up more big snails, it was like the snails laid some traps for their hunters lol, I told my friend not to go that we should stick to the small ones mixed with the big ones lol...
They all refused to listen, they pushed each other to go and my friend was the Van damme lol, the moment he climbed up the fence covered with bushes and leaves I got a huge flash back of how I was a victim of something similar in the past...
I told him to get down and he refused, he picked up some big snails successfully and I told him to come down that it was already enough, the other kids were showing him all the hidden angles of the snails and he was happily picking them up lol...
I decided to give up hunting before something similar happen again , the moment I said I was going back home, I saw my friend planning to jump to the next fence to pick up one big snail there...
The moment I saw him trying to jump I had already pictured his end and I said temmy don't jump and he refused to listen, I already knew what would happen to him, he jumped and landed successfully on his two toes on the other fence, the next 10 seconds I heard gbim, it was my friend on the floor lol...
I was about laughing not until I saw his lips bursted and a swollen head lol, what happened to you?? He said that leaves slipped him lol and he fell as he was about to pick up the big snail...
He was unsuccessful in picking up that snail and still ended up with a bursted lips and a swollen head, it was at this moment I laughed and shared my experience with them and they were like why didn't I tell them...
I looked at all of them with a strange eye and they all remembered they were the one pressing him to go further after not paying heed to my warnings lol...
In conclusion, we had to take him home to his mum lol, she saw his lips and forehead and as usual now as a nigerian mother, she gave him one tight slap on the back before treating him lol...
It all ended badly just like how it happened with me in the past lol, the painful thing was that he couldn't eat from the snail he suffered and struggled to picked up because he had a bursted lips lol...
A painful and an unforgettable memory for both of us lol, we both now have similar experience lol and mine was a DEJA VU because I have experienced
something similar in the past lol...

I can imagine that strange eyes you looked at them with because at that point, no one would want to believe you as their urge to pick snails would be in their mind. And even if they had listened to you, you won't feel at peace that day and you will end up becoming their enemy of progress π π π
