Frankly, I can't count the number of terrible traffic jams I have experienced, yeah but as much as the situation of being in an almost never-ending traffic jam can be, it has taught me numerous things about patience 👇👇

Now I have come to understand why they say 👇👇

Patience is a virtue, some say that even is an understatement. It's actually more of a skill that can be learned and constantly cultivated.

Patience is the state of being that arises between experience and reaction(experiences like being in a traffic jam, not once but multiple and uncountable times). Whether you're trying to be patient with yourself, with others, or with life, it always seems to involve the experience of dealing with delays or obstacles.

By cultivating the practice of patience, you can let go Break free from things beyond your control (most time the situation of being in a traffic jam is usually beyond our control, what can you do?) and live with far less daily stress, uncontrollable anxiety and frustration.

It's not an easy exercise, but here are some insights into how to cultivate patience to open up new possibilities.

Be patient with yourself
you look at what it means to be patient, you are talking about managing your own thoughts and emotions. As a spiritual being, there is a limitless, limitless presence within you that is constantly searching for expression.

As a physical being that is limited in time, you are limited in expressing this inner knowing, constantly searching for instant gratification and spontaneous movement that doesn't exist in the physical realm.

You think, you act and you experience, and that should be the simplicity of life.
Unfortunately, it's hardly that simple. Problems surface when what you think and do doesn't seem to produce immediate results.

But the most important thing to focus on is the word "seems". Wisdom passed down through the ages supports the idea that every sincere intention and desire is fulfilled with the support of the universe, and then you as an individual make choices that affect your experience.

Perhaps it's time to look inward and ask yourself why you don't have patience with yourself.

Ask yourself patiently:
What does it mean to be patient without and without myself?
What would be the benefits of being patient with myself?
What can I do? What can I do to be more patient with myself?

Think about all these for a moment

Remember that patience is the ability not to worry about life changes, delays or other undesirable things. It is the ability to remain calm in the midst of disappointments.

Try to practice self-awareness in those moments when you feel the greatest need for patience.
Pay attention to what builds up in you
Pay attention to where you feel stress
Listen to your thoughts

Pay attention to your emotions
A major benefit of practicing patience is that you can Developing peace of mind helping you get out of those moments. Even the simple act of looking within at a time when you are impatient can be healing. Use mindfulness to stay calm. Use your silence and keep it.
See these moments of self-reflection as opportunities to grow in self-control and grace.

Practising patience with others
Cultivating patience with others is a whole different challenge. Other people always act, think, and feel in ways that may make them uncomfortable.
As everyone has the right to personal liberty, no one has the right to interfere with others in their personal lives or the expression of their opinions: it doesn't matter how much you want sometimes. It's hard to just live and let live.
The problem with this is that you will be surrounded by other people all the time and the way you live your life will be different. However, the gift of patience is that you become less reactionary.
When others disappoint or irritate you, be patient with them. Gently expresses love and stillness. Remember that they are growing, as are you, and that life is a process.

Whatever problems you may have with another person, they are most likely temporary and will no doubt change once you put your own agenda aside. What excites you about that person now may change and the next moment you may be laughing with them or feeling other positive emotions.

Regardless of what other people do or think, you have a choice to face that to allow influence. Your mind may jump to negative ideas and reactions, your body may even register a reaction, but you are the source of everything. Finally, you can tap into your stillness, your peace.

Remember this and be patient. You are one with the Extraordinary.Things, people and situations in your life transform. Patience is an expression of this awareness and love.

Practising patience with life
Gaining patience can transform your entire experience of life. Much of life revolves around awareness, growth and learning - these are the things that always happen behind the scenes.
If you want things to happen in your life, you can prolong the process by you give your attention and energy to the frustration you feel from waiting. The wait isn't the problem. It depends on how you deal with it, how you see it.

Exercising patience diverts your attention from stress and frustration. Acting patiently is a way of letting life know you're in charge. You are in no hurry, there is no fear, only peace and trust in your truth.

~The next time you are in a traffic jam before you complain or act irrationally ask yourself, what can I learn from this situation? You did be surprised at how you look at the situation differently~

Thanks for sharing with us ☺️.

This is quite an interesting take you have, although when there is traffic I double there is much choice. You either wait it out or you get out of the vehicle and walk.

Thank you for sharing this with us.
