Se que no eres de mostrar tu rostro pero recuerdo cuando tu y tu esposa @gabbygoldenxo grabaron un video de cumpleaños para @eddiespino , así que tomé una captura de pantalla 😄, espero no te moleste, a mi me pareció divertido hacer la tarea de buscar tu rostro para colocarlo en la portada. Me encanta el tema de los Vikingos, por eso quise inspirarme de muchos elementos, por un lado considero que los Vikingos han sido retratados de buenas y malas maneras en la historia, como toda cultura en el mundo ellos hacían cosas que hoy en día sería una locura hacer, sin embargo, destacaban por sus grandes hazañas, una de ellas es por ser buenos navegantes, si bien sus motivaciones eran las de saqueo es ridículo pensar que solo lo hacían por eso, creo que cualquier cultura que viva en un entorno difícil siempre irá en busca de algo mejor para seguir sobreviviendo, aunque esto no deja de ser injusto para los que habitan lo lugares donde estos llegaban a saquear , aún así dejaron su huella cultural e histórica, países tan alejados como Islandia nunca fuesen existido si los Vikingos no fuesen llegado a la esa Isla, se dice que llegaron incluso al territorio americano mucho antes que los españoles, esto no lo podría haber hecho cualquiera en tiempos donde la navegación era tan difícil porque las condiciones ambientales eran mucho más fuertes y la humanidad tenia poco avance tecnológico. Al respecto me gustaría destacar que los Vikingos se atrevían a navegar por rutas nunca antes exploradas, por lo que en Hive todos somos como Vikingos, porque navegamos en una cadena de bloques que hace unos cuantos años era inimaginable. Este no es un tutorial de crochet pero igual les comparto fotos del proceso y también les cuento de mis inspiración. Comencé haciendo botas marrón, pensé que podrían parecer de cuero de algún animal, también hice los pantalones verde olivo, no se donde sacarían pigmentos para las pieles, pero igual creo que no todo debía ser marrón y por eso los pantalones los hice de ese color, hice una especie de camiseta beige, el cinturón igualmente de marrón, usé una tachuela para que se viese como la hebilla. También coloqué muñequeras marrones en los brazos, la piel de los brazos y la cara las hice de un color muy claro porque los nórdicos eran personas muy blancas.

Cuando hice el los detalles del rostro supe de inmediato que lo quería hacer pelirrojo, no dejaba de pensar en el personaje de Tormund en Game of Thrones cuando decía que los pelirrojos son hermosos porque fueron besados por el sol 😁, así que le hice una gran barba roja, pero luego de hacer la barba pensé que se veía muy cool siendo calvo, pensé en Floki y también en Ragnar cuando se hicieron mayor en la serie Vikingos, lucían tan bien calvos, aunque mi favorito fuera siempre Harald el rey de cabellera hermosa, es muy común que los calvos usen barba y se vean bien, así que deje a mi vikingo calvo como Kratos😄
Pero luego pensé que sería lindo hacerle un casco, recordé entonces los cómics de Olafo el amargado que leía cuando era niña, este cómic aparecía los días domingos en un encartado del periódico nacional de mi país hace muchos años. Era un vikingo gordito y amargado llamado Olafo, no se si otros países tendría el mismo nombre, el llevaba a siempre su casco vikingo de cuernos, así que hice uno.

Por ultimo hice el hacha y el escudo, porque son los elementos mas comunes de los guerreros vikingos, aunque usaban también espadas, el hacha vikinga es de lo mas icónico. Es muy triste que no pueda hacerle llegar mis regalos de cumpleaños a Dan de forma física, porque cada vez que he ido a tratar de enviar una figura a crochet a otro país, dicen que no tienen el servicio de rayos X para ver el contenido interior del muñeco, por lo que tendrían que romper el muñeco para constatar que yo no vaya a enviar cosas ilegales dentro de la figura. Es algo triste y totalmente injusto, no entiendo como en mi país pueden llegar peluches importados de china u otros países, pero si yo quiero enviar un regalo a otro país lo quieran romper porque piensan que puede ser enviado por una traficante de sustancias 😥

Hola amiga, increíble este trabajo que nos compartes, para celebrar el cumpleaños de nuestro amigo. Un regalo muy bonito y cada uno de esos detalles que les colocas y la manera como armaste dicho muñeco es impresionante. Algo que requiere de muchas concentración y paciencia, además me gusto mucho como quedó la cara, ya que la barba le da un toque especial. Así que amigas muchas felicidades.
La barba fue mi parte favorita , era más larga pero la corte un poco, no quería exagerar pero me divertí mucho metiendo hebra por hebra. Saludos
