This is the Alive Chat for today, come and hang out with the We Are Alive Tribe, share news and ideas, or ask any question you want answered.
The Alive Chat starts at 12 UTC every day, and we recommend to be there at the start so that we can have an actual chat on chain, all later comments are also welcome of course.
Meaningful comments will be upvoted with ALIVE Power using @flaxz.alive and @iamalivechalleng accounts to reward them with ALIVE tokens.
ALIVE token earnings on the @alive.chat account will to begin with be staked to build our ALIVE Power, but once we have worked out the technical details we will use 50% to pay out to ALIVE stakeholders according to their stake.
Earnings of liquid Hive will be used to buy ALIVE tokens on the market and used the same way as above.
Starts At 12 UTC Every Day
After the results from yesterday setting the time from 12 to 14 UTC and not having much action, I am now changing it so that it starts at 12 UTC every day but with no end time.
I hope that this is more encouraging, and don't drive people away if they come later.

So a quite busy Tuesday for me so far, I just looked through the old replies, and maybe people did not take into account when they actually where chatting here when they gave fedback about time, it seems that a lot was chatting between 10 and 11 UTC before this recent change, so from tomorrow I will post it at 10 UTC instead and leave it at that.
Let's focus on how I can help instead of messing with the time, so I will make the update to our white paper as soon as possible, to include the new strategy for the miners and our updated plan for @iamalivechalleng, and then post that.
I also think that we need some better strategy for engagement and to get people to vote on comments, but maybe that will get better once we have enabled delegations, which will happen after the launch of the miners.
We also see sone trading of ALIVE tokens today, some more volume that is which is nice to see.

Actually the reward split and that we operate on a linear curve is not a change, it has been like that since we started the tribe.

Yes, I agree that starting at 12 UTC and no end time is a good idea with people here from everywhere. I never know what time of the day I am going to get this and don't want to miss the opportunity to participate.
That is a great point Lisa, though as I said in the comment on my own account I will move it back to 10 UTC after checking at what time people actually started chatting.

Starting at 12 UTC, but having no end-time so a good idea. Stating 14 UTC as an end time might have created the impression that people would be late if they saw the post after that time... Who knows...
But I think it's a good idea what you have done now...to leave it open-ended with end time... Let's see, maybe we get more activity...
No restriction to the end time make sense.
We can always start at any time and if there is some conversation left, can be continued on corresponding comment chain and anything new should b started in next chat post.
