Hello All, I Am Alive!!
I have been out of the loop for a couple of months now. I was already overwhelmed with trying to keep up with business things and be on Hive/ctptalk and do all the other things my business required.
I didn't stop because I was overwhelmed or giving up but because on June 19th, my baby passed on to a higher place. He was only 25 but I suppose his time had come. Now on to recovery and getting back to life and business.
Before all this, I was doing fairly well earning 100 to 200 cto tokens on a daily basis. I suddenly dropped to 0 an believe me it felt like my world was falling apart. I returned to work a few weeks ago but was barely doing anything and earning only a handful or two of ctp tokens and very little hp. This was so disappointing after all the work I put in over the past year. However, it's time to get back to business and to start off I'm stepping way out by doing a video.
I am presently taking it slow to incorporate a schedule and do 1 video a week to start along with the 3 daily challenges I've been participating in. Along with the #iamalivechallenge I will be getting back to the #lukeisalivechallenge, catching up on my training as well as building my email list.

Awesome video, always remember we are all here for you. Don't stress over the challenges the most important thing is consistency just keep showing up. The challenges are there to help you get started not to be the center of what you do, so be you and have fun with this and show up often and you will see things start to happen.
Thank you @maddogmike. It's the challenges that kept me going during my absence here. I don't stress over yhem because I enjoy them and they keep me engaging with others, especially while I'm finding my way to me.

I'm sorry for your loss and can't imagine how you feel, but it's good to see you that you are well...
On the other side, it's nice to see you stepping out from your comfort zone, and I hope that you will be more active in the community! You already know how everyone is supportive here, so that's a big plus! And having you with us will just add more positive value to all of us!

I have always been active since day 1 with ctp/hive. I have had my moments of no posts or comments simply because I would get stuck. But I getting better at it now and will be around a little more. I used to just upvote cause I didn't know how or what to write or comment. Full Speed Ahead.......
Just take your time and create, engage on your pace... We would love to see you here on the whole journey...

I loved this video!! It was so nice to see your face. :) As some of the others said, please don't overwhelm yourself with the challenges, etc here. You do what works for you at YOUR own pace. Weekly sounds like a perfect way to ease into things. Sometimes, you just need to take care of you & do what's best for you. (I did make a video for new hivers yesterday so maybe it will help you a little.)
I am just thrilled to see you here & if you ever need help or just an ear, we are here. When you have your list set up, I will be sure to join. It reminds me I need to work on mine since it has been sort of neglected ha ha. Oh well!

Hi there Charletta, so lovely to meet you and welcome back.
I am so sorry to hear about your son, from that photo beside you, he looked like a gorgeous human being and I'm sure that he was too.
I only just discovered the whole Hive universe 6 weeks ago and found it very overwhelming and I'm still trying to figure out how to do it all, so I'm sure that you will slip back into it without it being too arduous on you.
I look forward to your Friday video and hope that you will succeed on Hive as much as and even more than you did before.

Welcome to hive! It takes some time to get familiar with things but it's not to hard to learn and the great thing is all the help there is. It's nearly impossible to fail on hive. I still don't understand it all but it will come. Just keep doing what you're doing and I sure all will work out for you. And I wish you much success.

First, I'm sorry for your loss. As a mother myself I cannot fathom the depth of your loss and I want you to know that I will pray for continued strength for you as you journey through this.
Second, you're really great at videos! You didn't look nervous at all if you were. That's always a bit concern of mine LOL This is fantastic.
I agree with you when it comes to being overwhelmed. It's so hard to keep up. I have to admit, when I first got involved over here I was trying so hard to stay on top of what everyone was doing because I didn't want to miss anything and the truth is - it's impossible. So congrats for figuring that out because when you can put YOU first and what works for you, I think you'll find things going a lot smoother.
It's a great idea to do this weekly. I've considered doing the I Am Alive challenge but I knew I couldn't do it daily. Weekly seems more logical. I love that you're doing something different.
All in all, I'm very proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone and I can't wait to see more videos next Friday! :D

I think you where really brave stepping out like this.
I think we all have to view the challenges as optional, we participate if we have time and opportunity to do them.
But I think it becomes wrong if we get the feeling it is mandatory.
So take your time and don't put any unnecessary pressure on yourself.

While the challenges are a choice, they did keep me going while I was in the state I was in and I like them as well as they help me with my consistency in actualy doing something on a regular basis. That's what I need to work on the most is being consistent and getting the work done.
