Today was a consummate test of my commitment, dedication, and devotion to Hive, and of my ability to focus amid many calls for my attention and distractions. Yesterday I mentioned yesterday that Ano wanted me more available during the mornings. Well, today I made myself available to go pick up two loads of cinder, to put on foot trails and driveways. I went once in the late morning, and again just after 2PM. In between the two trips I was intending to get my important Hive tasks done, however three of the kids kept asking things of me, or asking me lots of questions, at a time when I really needed to focus. I was tenacious, however, and I was able to catch up on some of my Hive tasks.
I didn't finish my superfood fire coffee until after 3PM today, and I wasn't able to get my Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation: Keep the Focus! post published until almost 4PM, which is notably later than usual, but I flowed with it the best I could.
After finally getting my 'morning' Hive post published, I did another quick catch up, then I went to go help unload and distribute the cinders that I had just picked up in the truck. I worked with Michael (one of the new guys) on that for about two or so hours. Several of the kids wanted to help too, making quick and efficient work a bit challenging. We did finally finish just before the sun began to go down.
Once we finished with the cinder, I took a shower to clean off, made some food in the Landing, and returned to the Flow House to sit and devote some good find to my Hive tasks, one of which is writing this post.
So yeah, today was a very atypical day that did not easily provide me with sufficient time for Hive, though I was still able to make it all work, very thankfully.
And with that I shall now take my leave so that I can do one more catch up on Hive before I get my sleepy self to bed. I appreciate you all so much! Until tomorrow! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
