This person is SOOOOO very special to me. One of my favorite people in the whole wide sea! And - it is their very first post on Hive, and it's also (of course) their very first Wednesday Walk!
So... Because this person is a little bit like me - they thought it would be fun to do something a bit "extra" for their first entrance into the community. And I said I sure would help them out.
So - if you know what I'm talking about - you'll know the surprise - and you'll know what to do! hehehehe

Let's start out with a pretty famous bridge! I think you'll know EXACTLY what part of the world we were all in once you see this!
See that pretty bridge in the fog there??? If you don't know what it is... then check out when we drive over it! :)
hehehe I bet you know now! :) and if not... well - you'll have to use Google hahaha
Perhaps, this famous island would ring some bells for you? A movie was made about an escape from it! After that escape -it was closed down! Now they only give tours. We have been to this city multiple times and we have NEVER gone on a tour there! I don't know why - but it gives me the creeps hahahaha
Zoomed in - but... blurrier too. Someday, I will get a phone that will let me zoom in with clearer shots hahaha. Or maybe - an actual REAL camera that lets me take cool pics hehehe!
My daughter and I - at the wharf! How does it always surprise me that she is so much taller than me? I'm a shrimp! hehehe and the Hubs is a giant. She takes after him so - she's my mini-me Giant. hehehe
Well mini-me, as in - personality. She looks exactly like the Hubs! LOL
I saw this while we were walking down the street on the way to the art supply store for Miss Remy the Artist! And of course - they would have a cool sign like this!! I had to take a picture of it - because this is my motto!!! In order to make the DREEMS come to life - you have to finish with the thinking at some point and start creating!!! Make it reality :) You can!!!
Walking around on the wharf - and on the streets... got to see this beautiful carousel. Have you ever seen a two-decker carousel? hehehe Not only did they have two floors to it - but they also had some mini rides too! They actually had TEA CUPS on the bottom floor. so you could spin in a circle - while you were circling around on the carousel too! hahaha The Hubs would NEVER do that - but me and my wild child(s) would hahahahahahahahaha. The faster, the better!
This one is for my friend, Bear Bear. hehehe You came to visit us on vacation too???? wow. you must really like to be around our family! LOL
Another not-so-great quality pic - BUT... I just loved the FEELING of this picture! Seeing the Hubs and the sweetie girl walking out into this field and overlooking the ocean in the distance. So beautiful :) And if you have noticed - YEP... this is the place that was mentioned in that other post as part 2 hehehe
We finally made it to that ocean - and it was so beautiful. Really a gorgeous beach!!! Look how perfectly it's shaped!!!! So blue and serene! We sat by the beach with ice cream and fries hehehe.. yummy!
On the other side of the mountains - no beach - natural, rocky shoreline, cliffs and a completely different feel of the ocean. Isn't it wonderful that you can see SO MANY different sides of the ocean and get to know all the shades of its personality? hehehe
That ends the journey for this Wednesday! hehehe I hope you enjoyed it and.... did you guess? I'm sure you did and you want to know that you were right!
Yep - it's San Francisco! and that was the famous Golden Gate bridge - and.... that prison was Alcatraz!
