The things that can come across one's mind.
A day as ordered. Not too hot, not too windy and without any annoying appointments. What could be better than looking for a quiet spot near the water?
As soon as I find it, my eyes are glued to the sky. Today truly seems to be something like 'cloud day'. Almost identical to us humans, they also seem to take advantage of every opportunity to take a ride.

Ein Tag wie bestellt. Nicht zu heiß, nicht zu windig und ohne lästige Termine. Was bietet sich da mehr an, als einen ruhigen Platz nahe dem Wasser zu suchen?
Kaum fündig geworden, klebt mein Blick am Himmel. Heute scheint wahrhaftig so etwas, wie der Wolkentag zu sein. Fast identisch uns Menschen scheinen auch sie jede sich bietende Gelegenheit zu einem Ausflug zu nutzen.
And today is probably a 'cloud bank holiday'. Colorfully mixed, the often giant entities seem to enjoy the opportunity for free development without regard to descent, preferences, or origin. Und heute ist wohl Wolken-Feiertag. Halt eben, wie wir es praktizieren. Die Liste, der uns verbindenden Ähnlichkeiten, ist verblüffend. Ein weitverbreitetes Problem des Wanderers am Himmel scheint das Zu- und Abnehmen zu sein.

Solange du in eine geschlossene Formation passt, fällt keinem was auf. Wenn es jedoch eng wird, dann musst du unbedingt Dampf ablassen.“
Diese Diät ist mir zwar neu, aber wert im Gedächtnis zu behalten.

Territoriale Besitzansprüche scheinen auch am Wolken-Ausflugstag an der Tagesordnung zu sein. Dass die zur Blasenschwäche neigenden Gebilde es dabei immer furchtbar eilig zu haben scheinen und jede Möglichkeit zum Überholen der weißen, noch verträumten Sippe nutzen, dürfte auch unsereinem nicht ganz fremd sein. Doch Drängeln erzeugt Reibung. Nicht unbedingt vorteilhaft, wenn nicht mehr alle Kräfte so ganz super funktionieren.

Aber es geht auch friedlich. Da bleibt dann auch genügend Zeit für ein paar Späßchen. Einen besonders kreativen dieser Sorte beobachte ich nun schon, seit er am Horizont aufgetaucht ist. Mal gibt er sich im Gewand eines Schafes, dann spielt er den Zauberer und entzweit sich beinahe bis ans Rückenmark, um sich schnell wieder zu sammeln und mit ausgestrecktem Mittelfinger die Richtung vorzugeben.
For me, the bright part of the day is slowly coming to an end, while the 'cloud-walking day' still seems to be in full swing. I am almost certain that the clouds are also watching us and occasionally thinking:
They are just like us. They come, get upset for no reason, explode loudly and disappear into irrelevance.
Für mich neigt sich der helle Teil des Tages langsam dem Ende entgegen, während der Wolken-Wandertag noch im vollen Gange zu sein scheint. Ich bin mir fast sicher, dass die Wolken auch uns beobachten und gelegentlich denken:
Die sind genauso wie wir. Sie kommen, regen sich ohne Grund auf, explodieren lautstark und verschwinden in der Belanglosigkeit.

PS: So mancher nennt es einen Traumjob, ein anderer gar ein Privileg - für mich nicht mehr als ein Job, der auch viele Nerven kostet.
Die Antwort auf die Frage von @indextrader24. Ich bin dann, wenn kaum Urlauber unterwegs sind, auf der Suche nach Orten an denen die Neugierigen und Sonnenhungrigen sich im Sommer wohlfühlen können.
Moin liebe Maiglocke,
eigentlich hatte ich ja nur eine Vermutung angestellt. Die schneebedeckten Berge im Hintergrund lassen mich jedoch zweifeln ob es sich um Korsika handelt. 😉
Wolken sind etwas besonderes - allein schon deshalb weil sie in ihrer Ausformung wie auf Erden sonst nirgendwo im Sonnensystem anzutreffen sind.
