
Looking for a sign to get fit and healthy at the same time?
Hello hivers! I am back with another story for today.
I am currently 59 kilograms and for me, not fit at all. I mean almost all of my clothes are not my size anymore. Especially the jeans? I am now transitioning to trousers by the way.
I usually go for like 1km walk only but this time, its a one step higher. I have heard that my neighboring town, Municipality of Ayungon, Negros Oriental will host a FUN RUN 2025 with 3km, 5km and 10km.
Without hesitation, we chose the 10km with no proper practice and training. We just feel like we need to try it.

Here comes the big day! This is my cousin TIM, me on the center and my lover James. This photo was taken before the run. We had some stretching and waited for 5am to start the run.
Actually I am a little bit nervous about what will happen because 10km is not a joke. Haha! I just want to challenge myself.
Fast forward, while running, I ate some free bananas, watermelon and drank some water. All of it were provided by the organizers.
We walked while going back to the starting place because my legs were having cramps already and thank God, we finished strong!

Look at the happy faces! Yes!!! We made it! Our first ever 10 KM Run plus walk!

The registration fee is 550 pesos each and that comes with a race bib, medal and free shirts!

And after the run, we looked for our names and found it right away!


I still can't believe we did it. But I know, GOD did it.

Another proof I finished 10km! HAHA! Couldn't be more prouder to myself for taking the challenge.

Do you plan to do more runs ?
I used to run a lot, and swim and cycle, so spur of the moment after to many drinks one night I decided to enter a triathlon, the next morning, hungover and never having trained for a triathlon, I managed to finish but not in a good time and was so achy and sore afterwards
I learnt my leson and trained properly and did one more and did a lot better
Yes! I am planning to do more runs and will definitely practice a lot. I am amazed to people who do triathlon its not an easy thing to do. What a nightmare for you. And yes, thank you for sharing this. It will also serve as a lesson for me to train properly because it will always come back to your body. Glad to meet you!
