Intruding The Monkey Territory - Man vs Wild #Wednesdaywalk

in Wednesday Walk2 years ago

The evolution of human being has bring about a lot of development and changes. Unlike the older civilisation, we have shifted into well established society and accordingly live our life comfortably. However, with the passage of time we slowly started to exploit the life of other territory and making unwanted intrusion. Now the situation is that the other animal started to interfere in our life. Especially the Monkey.

Monkey can be found anywhere in India. We have a bunch of them in our Delhi flats and so does in other areas. They were creating a lot of menace making human life difficult. Not only this with new hil station coming up now and then, the Monkey started to wander from one place to another. Whenever you will visit a hill station these Monkey were common sighting. Either try to snatch snacks from your hand or fighting with each other. Sitting on the roadside hoping to be feeded or roaming here and there in search of food.

On my recent trip to one of the hill station which happens to be one of the Hindu pligrimiage site, I found a bunch of them everywhere. The presence of human does not bothering them and they easily creating ruckus among the crowd. They were everywhere. Importantly they always remain in herd, so it is not possible for anyone to control any one of them. If you try to soo them away the other will attack you or ran after you.

These Monkey were in playful mood untill not being disturbed. These hilly areas supposed to be their home, but with people invading them and made them a tourist place These Monkey has left with no option than making life with these tourist.

I am quite impressed with the way these Monkey behave in public. They silently steal people stuff and use them as human. The know how to unscrew a water bottle, they know how to unpack a chips packet. They have their own Intellect. In all the ruckus they were creating g they never harm anyone. Except few times getting angry watching human repulsing them.

Once they done with their activity, they climb on top of something and sits silently. As nothing has happened. The elder one seems to be the leader of all while the younger / Smaller ones keeps jumping here and there.

It was one of the sights from one gill station and wat hing them playing, fighting, teasing or getting angry is remarkable. Even though I made few videos of them, they were never afraid. But once you try to get closer then they started to feel insecure.

It's the human, who have intruded into their landscape and now it's us that need to adjust with them. Better to avoid harming them and in return, they just depend on us to feed them. It was all funny when you saw and observe them closely. It was good memory of my earlier walk and thought to share for #wednesdaywalk community.

Peace!!
