This post if for Wednesday walk challenge And Make me Smile Collaboration challenge, initially our collaboration was once a month but due to the popularity of it we have decided to make the collab a weekly thing :)

For this weeks Wednesday Walk post I am sharing a few shots from a Visit to Allens Pond Wildlife reserve and beach,
It was a warm steamy morning, initially my camera lens was fogging up, but finally it got used to the temp and I could get a few shots, then some fog rolled in was a nice time out even if I didn't take a lot of photos.
Starting on the beach Loved the sheen on the wet sand

I then walked into the reserve a little, the field that one walks through to the trails, normally has a path cut through it, but recently they had cut down the field, with the couple of machines shown in this next photo

After crossing the field I got to the trail, I walked it a bit but for a couple of resaons I didn't take any more photos on the trail that morning

On the way back out i spotted the sun rising over the fields with a light fog

not only had they mowed the field that had made some hay bails, I went with mono for this shot

and another one in color, there was a nice golden light at this stage

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

What are they going to do with the hay???

It did give a mystical perhaps magical feel with the fog
to be hoest no ides what they will do with the hay maybe it goes to a local farm nearby
That would be perfect, or maybe a farm rescue or something!

Actually a farm rescue would make more sense since it is a sanctuary, or perhaps they even use them within the sanctuary to feed the animals over winter

First of all, I'm glad to hear that your hand is getting better!
I love your first photo with the wet sand. It's as if the wet sands bring out more of the color in the background...?
Some of the photos you shared today took me on a bit of a memory trip as well... Some time ago I worked at a company focused on the farming and animal industries. I sometimes went out with the truck to collect similar bails to the ones in your photos very early in the mornings.
The moment I saw your photos, I actually got the smell of the freshness and the wet grass of the early morning... Some nice memories to have...

I remember a nun in primary school whacking my hand with a ruler for writing with my left hand

Oh wow, that fog is a definite mood for sure! I love the photos. I think the mono edit of the hay really turned out well. Things are finally a bit more green here and with the winds we have been getting, the fields look more like lakes with waves. It is really pretty on my drive home.
We got some ran overnight so hoping that will help here as it’s still pretty dry here

Glad to hear that the numbness in your hands is getting better. it get's worse with repetitive tasks so I totally understand if you couldn't comment or reply. There are numerous posts here and most people wouldn't understand the carpal tunnel syndrome but I do. As always your pictures are looking amazing especially the golden sunrise with the warm yellow hues. Thank you for sharing and enjoy Thursday ahead :}

I had carpal tunnel surgery before and maybe I may need it again in the future but if I can pace myself and avoid it it’s for the better

Thanks and yeah, I had it before and had the surgery, feels like its coming back so slowed down for a bit and the numbness eased off, will see how it goes

MY fingers are tingling a little after yesterday but not as bad as it was, but now will go a bit quieter on commenting for a day or two :)
I cant complain its nothing major just annoying and if i am sensible maybe I wont need the surgery again, our Daughter in Law has been in hospital a couple of days now, today should find out if she needs her Gall Bladder removed today or in a week or two, so tingling fingers is nothing ;)
I had my gallbladder taken out about 6 years ago. I had on again off again issues with it, and when it got a cyst on it. They took it out. Life has been pretty amazing since, but of course all of our parts have a purpose, so great thought goes in to removing one.
