Operation: Colonize H24

Greetings, fellow pilots. It has come to my attention that a habitable planet in sector H has been identified. The planet has been dubbed H24 and colonization will commence shorty. The necessary crew are to be mustered and cargo will be gathered and loaded effective immediately. Leave all that can be spared behind.

Diplomatic Corvette, the Amarasia, is given clearance and prepares to dock at Starbase Aramea.
Although we have no weapons onboard, there is ample space for passengers and a modest cargo hold. We'll have to make due with what we have. So this is how it begins...Goodbye, Federation. Goodbye, old Earth.
-Memoirs of the Chancellor of the Midwest

The elected leader chose his 3 most trusted advisors to be officers. Below are scans of their identification profiles.

The security officer was chosen first. He's the elected leader's personal bodyguard and is most often stationed just outside his office. Whether it be the alien hostiles on the nearby planetoid or an internal power struggle and an attempted coup, security is paramount.
Norah is an administrative officer and has many desirable qualities for running a small colony on H24. She has great administration and leadership skills. Her charisma and conversational skills give her popularity among the constituents and could be used to defuse angry or unruly colonists.
The last slot for an administrative officer was a tough call. It was between him and a communications specialist. He is a little rough around the edges and sometimes seedy, but his skills, social ties, and diplomacy outweigh his faults.

Nobody knows why, but the chancellor wants this mysterious robot to join us on our journey. The Drachian trooper was selected at the request of one of our passengers and the chancellor agreed due to his discipline, shooting, and piloting skills especially. The propaganda specialist will be used to great effect to keep the colony in line, just as he did back on old Earth. One promising member of the maintenance staff was chosen for his valuable skills as a mechanic. After all, what will we do if the leader's precious robot breaks down? One surgeon was recruited just in case somebody takes a nasty spill on our new home. Finally, the welfare specialist and population analyst will be invaluable for colony reports and general management.

The Drachian authority figure was the one who insisted his assault trooper be included in the crew. He is a great investigator but it is likely he only got a place on this ship due to his political ties with the leader. The socialite was a noble back on old Earth. She likely paid a pretty price to get on our ship. The techie was a must; he will help with maintenance, mechanics, and the like. We're bringing an experimental clone with us, though we don't know much about him. If he's smart he can help the mechanics, but if he's not...well...
A nuclear family is also expected to come onboard.

This criminal citizen stowed away onboard the Amarasia!

Diplomatic Gifts.png

These "diplomatic gifts" were given to the leader as a bribe in return for a seat on the Amarasia.

The drilling machine we're bringing with us will allow us to mine valuable resources, perhaps even some oxygen crystals for our WHC unit to use to produce energy! Since H24's sister planet is home to hostile aliens, we felt it was necessary to include a radar array to give us an early warning of an impending attack, along with an automatic turret to protect against such an attack. Our underground construction prefab will also give us some stealth and protection. We've loaded the TOM custom and SMOOTY to provide housing for our citizens and a Foodie-Moodie to provide food and drink since H24's primitive flora will provide little in regards to nutrition. Some energy cells and an X-Gen will be providing the colony with power, however we might have to switch out the TR20 for a TR100 because our colony needs a lot to maintain the drill and the turret specifically.

And...there. I think that's everything. I'll be double checking of course but I think we have all that we need to set up a colony on H24. I think the Planetscan software will be particularly useful for detecting mineral deposits and landmarks. And the deep ground scan might help us determine the cause of the unusual seismic activity, or at least help us to avoid it. T minus 5 minutes for departure! I'd better get a move on. The game looks interesting. Is this a digital game on an online platform?

Yes, it's on the Hive blockchain actually. You can play right on your browser. The game is in early alpha stage right now. Are you thinking of investing in a starter pack? :)

I haven't decided yet if I want to get involved. Do they have a website for the card packs yet?

Exodegame.com
I think you have until Sunday to decide because that's when they'll be burning all packs from the presale. In case you do decide to buy a pack, use this referral code and you'll also get 2 free booster packs: de7ed45
