This is the LOLZ Defi report for 2/23/2022. This (will become - this one is manual!) an automated report. (Once automated) All liquid Hive from this post will be used to buy and burn LOLZ. Token earnings will be staked to increase curation value.
Discussion of Report
This is the first draft of what will become the daily LOLZ Defi report. It isn't automated yet, but will be in the coming days.
The values shown should be accurate based on today's earnings. The "bugs" that impacted our curation bots should have worked itself through the system now (i.e., curation rewards are back to "normal").
We have a bit to do to get the farming rewards table completed (the rewards are being paid, we just don't have a pretty table to show them yet), but wanted to get the rest of the information out so our delegators will have an idea of the APRs we are achieving for each token. For now, LOLZ Farmers can see the amount of LOLZ they earned by looking at their LOLZ token history in Hive-Engine or the dex of your choice.
Note that our curation earnings fluctuate a fair bit from day to day for a number of reasons, so it would be best to look at the APRs for several days to get the best handle on what APRs we are achieving. At some point we will include a 7-day average APR as well. That said, scanning the APRs reported below, these look pretty typical of what we have been seeing.
Also, the dividends paid out for this week include the total amount accumulated in the pool for the last several weeks. Once this week is over, the amounts will be substantially less as the dividends will be for the last weeks earnings, not the 7 or 8 weeks this weeks rewards represent.
What is LOLZ Defi?
LOLZ Defi is a way to earn passive income on the Hive Blockchain and includes three components.
- LOLZ Curation
- LOLZ Farming
- LOLZ Dividends

LOLZ Farming Basics
Farm LOLZ tokens by delegating Hive tokens to the LOLZ Curation bots (HIVE delegation coming soon!). We are rewarding delegators with LOLZ tokens equal to 110% of the value of the curation rewards received from their delegation.
To start farming LOLZ, delegate the following tokens to the associated curation bot.

Curation Earnings
The following table summarizes the LOLZ Curation earnings for the last 24 hours. The APR shown is calculated by dividing the daily earnings by the amount of tokens staked and delegated multiplied by 365 days. The APR for each token changes daily based on the earnings achieved. Note the APRs shown DO NOT include the 10% bonus paid to LOLZ farmers.

Farming Rewards
The following table shows the LOLZ farming rewards for today. We are rewarding delegators with LOLZ tokens equal to 110% of the value of the curation rewards received from their delegation.

Dividends
Forty percent of curation earnings are paid out as dividends to LOLZ Headliners (holders of 512 or more LOLZ) on a pro-rated basis weekly. Currently, dividends are paid out for two tokens per day, such that all pool rewards are paid out once per week.
NOTE: The dividends for this first week are much higher than normal as the accumulated pool is being paid out this week.

SO delegating HP to those bot accounts is not the way to help...delegate the appropriate token to the bot with the same name as the token....and i Have to be a Headliner to get into the payout.?. How many more jokes do you need for me to get there for you?

Yes, I was going to tell you that after I saw you delegated HP. But we will be including HP delegation very soon (like a few weeks), at which point you will be able to delegate HP (to @lolzbot) too.
And at 5 LOLZ per joke, you need 100 jokes totalish. You could certainly do that. That would be great!
But delegating is a good way to go too. Farming rates are crazy with some tokens.

No, if you delegate you will earn LOLZ farming rewards daily paid in LOLZ regardless of your LOLZ holdings.
To participate in the dividends, which is separate from farming, you need to hold at least 512 tokens.

Yes.
No, that would still be farming, although as I said, we aren't ready for HP delegation yet.
You don't have to delegate anything to get paid dividends, you just need to hold at least 512 LOLZ to be included in the pool payout. Then the dividends are paid based on how many LOLZ you hold.

Thanks for the update. I have a question about the DUNK farming rewards. I tried checking out the rewards for the couple of people delegating to lolz.dunk, but I couldn't find anything. Is it because the amount in LOLZ is too low for daily payout, or am I missing something? I will take the time to check the other farming rewards soon.
