Un dossier es un portafolio que recoge una serie de información sobre un tema particular. Les muestro como hice el mío para una mini muestra inspirada en el Cinetismo, presentación de trayectoria, una interpretación escrita del tema a desarrollar como concepto de la colección, descripción de cada pieza, gama de colores, bocetos artísticos y técnicos; descripción y especificaciones de los materiales utilizados. Esta documentación puede variar pero es la básica para armar tu dossier.
A dossier is a portfolio that collects a range of information on a particular subject. I show you how I made mine for a mini-show inspired by Kinetics, presentation of trajectory, a written interpretation of the theme to be developed as a concept the collection, description of each piece and colors, artistic and technical sketches; description and specifications of the materials used. This documentation may vary but it is the basic to assemble your dossier
Presentación de TrayectoriaSiempre diseñe mis trajes para eventos, pero luego de desempeñarme como profesora de inglés y galerista, comencé con la exploración de las distintas artes de las que me había rodeado, produciendo eventos tanto educativos como de entretenimiento, y fue hasta 2013 me encontré a gusto con el diseño y la confección de prendas de vestir, sobre todo para figuras a escala 1:6 (Barbies, Max Steel, entre otros), en esta área he tenido mayor desenvolvimiento debido a los coleccionistas de dichas figuras en Venezuela, muchas de esas piezas las pueden ver mis redes sociales.
Trajectory PresentationI always designed my costumes for events, but after working as an English teacher and gallery administration, I started exploring the different arts I had surrounded myself with, producing both educational and entertainment events, and it was until 2013 that I found myself comfortable with the design and manufacture of clothing, especially for 1:6 scale figures (Barbies, Max Steel, among others), in this area I have had greater development due to the collectors of these figures in Venezuela, many of these pieces can be seen on my social networks.
Interpretación de Traje Vuelo Cinético honra al acto reflexivo y reactivo que nos proporcionan momentos tan sencillos pero valiosos, en mi caso los de mayor disfrute son: ver las nubes, el cielo y el mar haciendo su danza natural. Y detenerme a observar una pieza de arte, sobre todo las instalaciones aéreas. Vuelo Cinético es la propuesta de vestir esas inmensidades que nos unen y mirar hacia donde nos emane la chispa de energía que nos hace vibrar y retomar los quehaceres con mejor y mayor ánimo, cambiar la perspectiva del ahora tal como lo hace el arte cinético con su juego entre formas y colores. Esta colección hace alusión al arte del gran Jesús Soto; contiene formas amplias, redondas, texturas finas y suaves que brindan comodidad y soltura a quienes lo usan. En cuestión de colores es dicromática para hacer alusión a la luz, mar y cielo que nos rodean.
Costume Interpretation Kinetic Flight honors the reflexive and reactive act that provides us valuable moments. In my case, the ones of greatest enjoyment are: seeing the clouds, the sky and the sea doing their natural dance. And stopping to observe a piece of art, especially the aerial installations. Kinetic Flight is the proposal of dressing up those immensities that unite us and look towards where the spark of energy makes us vibrate and take up again the tasks with better courage, change the perspective of the now just as kinetic art does with its game between forms and colors. This collection alludes the art of the great Jesús Soto; it contains wide, round shapes, fine and soft textures that provide comfort and ease to those who use it. About colors, it is dichromatic to allude to the light, sea and sky that surround us.
Descripción de PiezaTraje de Gala: Vestido midi, con estampados de esferas cinéticas en corte semi “A”, de mangas largas superpuestas, dando el toque elegante y movimiento volátil. Su parte trasera lleva un corte en “V” desde los hombros hasta la altura de la cintura, como representando ave en el cielo. Es un vestido cómodo de llevar, permite libre movimiento. Haciendo perfecta armonía cromática entre el fondo blanco y el azul añil tanto del estampado como el de las mangas.
