Para que algo sea memorable, atemporal y prevalezca como tendencia debe traspasar tres generaciones, y esto lo confirma el gran Quino con Mafalda. La publicación de hoy en homenaje a estos dos grandes personajes históricos por dos razones: El 29 de Septiembre Mafalda cumplió 56 años de su primera publicación, y ayer, 30 de septiembre falleció su creador Quino.
To be memorable, timeless and prevail as a trend it must go through three generations, and this is confirmed by the great Quino with Mafalda. Today's post is a tribute to these two great historical figures for two reasons: On September 29 Mafalda celebrated the 56th anniversary of its first publication, and yesterday, September 30, its creator Quino died.

Mafalda, es un comic que para su época se convirtió en una vocera irreverente, diciendo lo que muchos pensaban y pocos se atrevían a decir. Quino a través de ella ilustró años tras años las situaciones sociopolíticas del mundo con humor, también trascendió la figura femenina en la sociedad resaltando en su discurso el merecimiento y reconocimiento de independencia, el poder y la importancia de las mujeres en la historia.
Mafalda, is a comic book that for its time became an irreverent spokesperson, saying what many thought and few dared to say. Mientras practico mis técnicas de dibujos a través de la obra de Quino, Mafalda, me doy cuenta que esa figura es perfecta para los principiantes como yo en la pintura y amante del estilo caricaturesco. Porque son formas geométricas redondeadas y trazos simples que conforman este personaje, también por la identificación que puedes tener con su frases más célebres.
While I’m practicing my drawing techniques through the artwork of Quino, Mafalda, I realize that this figure is perfect for beginners like me in painting and lover of caricature style. Because they are rounded geometric shapes and simple strokes that make up this character, also because of the identification you can have with her most famous phrases.

De hecho, con este paso a paso me doy cuenta que es un buen ejercicio tanto para las habilidades manuales como para: enriquecer y desarrollar de manera dinámica el criterio propio. Porque es un contenido reflexivo, personal, educativo y no impositivo, de hecho, lo considero ideal para los más pequeños. Sinceramente Quino marcó un antes y después en el arte contestatario, en el artivismo.
In fact, with this step by step I realize that it is a good exercise both for manual skills and for: enriching and dynamically developing our own criteria. Because it is a reflexive, personal, educational and not imposing content, in fact, I consider it ideal for children. Los invito a todos a repasar al autor y su obra, hacer ese ejercicio reflexivo, sobre todo ahora cuando la sociedad va a un ritmo acelerado y con rumbo incierto. En lo personal este es mi agradecimiento y homenaje al gran Quino, quien ha sido pieza fundamental en mi interés por las letras y comunicación a través del arte gráfico.
