Hello #hive @onchainart once again !
As i have shared in my precious post about the work i have done for the movie Jiang Ziya that showing now in Cinema's i am happy to share with you again the second sequence i have worked on!
As part of the company deal we have agreed to work on Two sequences of the movie and since i was responsible for all the look development and lighting for these two sequences my part mainly was working along with the Art director and the Directors to get everything look colorful and vibrant.
In this Sequence, The Characters are walking in a desert cave set, The idea was to get the overall mood looking Orange with a mix of Pink, For me it was nice mixing up these 2 colors and in the blending process we got tons of nice blue-ish values in the fill area's, Again the idea the directors wanted is to have the 3D renders to look like a hand painted drawing's with rich Chinese mythology .
Using Arnold render for this project was just perfect as Arnold is great when it comes blending light colors and the way light works with shaders is just beautiful, The physicality of the render engine can mix these values without any artifacts what so ever in render, All render channels came out clean .

Since i liked how the skeleton beats looks like i wanted to create a modern art style render of it, Used 1 light from the top and the magic just happened, This was my actual render look without any editing
And this is the completed Seq i have worked on for the movie, Rendering all shots out and adding the V/O mix, a side note : this is not what the final movie look like, As this render was only for look development approval.
