Hello everyone.
Just one piece today, a stand-alone, not part of a series.
It's a sunny day today. I was given some old OHP paper recently. Some of you might not even be old enough to remember what an OHP is! It was an overhead projector used in schools, and it required shining a bright light through transparent plastic paper onto a mirror.
I took my transparent plastic sheets and painted words on them with white acrylic. Some of the words are loosely inspired by a philosopher and critic called Ludwig Wittgenstein who made some statements to the effect of, "The limits of my language are the limits of my world," and "Language speaks the speaker."
I then did a really rough composite of the three shots, added noise, then really saturated the colour and lowered the brightness.
The result is what you see below. I've included the raw photographs I used too so you can see them. I especially like the prismatic colours that popped up around the flowers in the photos.
