I've been posting about a few celebrity portraits I was commissioned to do if you check my previous posts.
I'm glad to share with everyone how I was given the opportunity to present the portraits to these celebrities in person.
I got a DM on my Instagram account from MIPAD to make 7 commissioned portraits in a week. It sounded impossible for me to do considering the concept they wanted for each portraits which was a change of the attire each celebrity had on them in the reference picture submitted, they also wanted the clothes colored which wasn't something I've done before. I felt challenged and of course I love to challenge myself when it comes to art. I believed so much that I could do it and I was able to. The organizers were so surprised with the outcome and presented me with the opportunity to give each portrait to each celebrity in person.
It was an amazing experience, they were all so grateful and happy to have their portraits, you could tell from the pictures below. I couldn't count the number of times I was hugged and appreciated. Thank you MIPAD.
