I like to try drawing different trends from art history, and one I found really interesting, is the outsider art, sometimes called brut art. This art was inspired by the people in madhouses' drawings as a form of anti-intellectual and spontaneous art,
but it really becomes a trend, when in the 80s, the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat, mixed it with urban and graffiti art, creating a visual grunge trend that painted all the 90s.

Me gusta intentar dibujar diferentes tendencias de la historia del arte, y una que encontré muy interesante es el arte marginal, a veces llamado arte brut. you could argue that characters as Fido Dido from the seven up ads, or even bart simpsons, took some inspiration from Basquiat.
I want to do a "brut art generator"!, so I will create a template of shapes of faces first. I am using the paint brushes in Adobe Illustrator.

Basquiat used to use primary colors, like yellow, blue and red, and he used to paint figures using black color, so I'm using that. Let's draw some mouths!
