I think the images of Disney villains deserve special attention and they are no less significant than the main characters of cartoons! They have their own charm, brightness and recognizable characteristics.
For me, Cruella de Vil is my favorite antagonist. Despite the large number of adaptations and interpretations of this image (at the same time, the release of a completely new film starring Emma Stone), I still adore the original image of Cruella, which was shown in the 1956 cartoon.

I think that its appearance was due to a similar situation in society of that time: the time of social revolutions, social riots and the hippie movement. By the way, in contrast to her, the heroine Anita, representing the typical patriarchal role of a woman, is a meek housewife who relies on her husband in everything.
