🇪🇸 Buen día amiwos de Hive. ¿Como estuvieron la noche de Halloween?
🇺🇸 Hello, good day Hive readers. how was Halloween night?
Esto debía publicarlo ayer pero hice varias cosas, salí un rato y estuve haciendo la pieza que les voy a mostrar hoy.
This was supposed to be published yesterday but I did other stuff; I went out for a while and I was working on the piece I'm going to show.

Ayer hubo un evento de súper luna, la ‘luna azul’ y salí un rato a verlo. Acá en Argentina está el planetario que es un sitio ideal para ver eventos estelares. Realmente la luna azul no es nada especial, solo es una luna llena más, solo que se llama así porque un mes normalmente tiene 3 lunas llenas, cuando hay 4 lunas llenas en un mes, a esta se le llama ‘Luna Azul’.
Yesterday there was a super moon event, the ‘blue moon’ and I went out to see it. In Argentina exist "the planetarium" an ideal place to see stellar events. Actually, the blue moon is nothing special, it is just one more full moon, it is called like that because a month normally has 3 full moons when a 4 full moon is shown in a month, it is called "Blue Moon".

Este año quería hacer una pieza especial para Halloween inspirada en un dibujo que hice para el Inktober del 2017. La pieza terminó muy diferente de cómo la había dibujado en un principio y quiero mostrarle acá el proceso de la pieza. Este dibujo es importante para mi porque tiene a mis personajes.
This year I wanted to make a special piece for Halloween inspired by a drawing I made in the Inktober of 2017. The piece ended very differently as I drew it at the beginning and I want to show you the process of the piece here. This drawing is important for me because my original characters are there.

Originalmente este dibujo representa mis personajes Hadett y Minala con su gata mascota posando para la cámara. En mi historia, la gata la encuentran un 31 de octubre que coincide con el último día del evento “Hallow’s End” de World of Warcraft.
Un tiempo después re hice la pieza para colorearla.
Originally this drawing represents my characters Hadett and Minala with their pet cat posing for the camera. In my story, the cat is found on October 31, which coincides with the last day of the World of Warcraft “Hallow’s End” event.
Some time after I remade the piece for coloring it.
Usé modelos 3D para reubicar los cuerpos de los personajes. Aquí cambié la composición y en lugar de hacerlo posando frente a la cámara, quise ponerlos de una forma más natural, representando el momento donde Minala y Hadett encuentran a la gata.
I used 3D models to help myself with the bodies of the characters. Here I changed the composition and instead of posing for the camera, I wanted to put them in a more natural way, representing the moment where Minala and Hadett find the cat.
Se me dificultó mucho el coloreado de esta pieza porque quería un ambiente oscuro con el anaranjado y purpura típico de halloween pero sin que fuese unicamente estos colores.
The coloring of the piece was difficult at the beginning because I wanted something dark with orange and purple, typical colors of Halloween but without looking too much over-saturated.
Por motivos que no recuerdo XD dejé la pieza abandonada y me decidí a retomarla este año para mostrarla y darle un acabado apropiado.
A mitad de edición de la pieza me di cuenta que casi todo estaba mal xd asi que hice los personajes otra vez.
For reasons I don't remember, I left the piece aside I decided to take it back this year to show it and give it a proper finish.
Halfway through the edition of the piece, I realized that almost everything in the characters was wrong, so I did the characters again.
Fue un pintado un poco frustrante porque había olvidado que era lo que quería lograr, así que iba pintando al más puro estilo “como va saliendo, vamos viendo.”
Después de algún tiempo de frustración y pintar, así ha quedado.
It was a painting a little frustrating because I have forgotten what I wanted to achieve with the piece, so I just went with the flow and painted until I considered it done, I guess.
After some time of painting, this is how it turned out!
