Si eres de los que les gustan las plantas y disfrutas tener pequeñas macetas con cactus, suculentas o alguna otra plantita, te traigo una idea sencilla para remodelar las macetas viejas y opacas usando conchas marinas, dándole un toque distinto a tus espacios y agregando otro elemento de la naturaleza a tu decoración ¡Comencemos!

If you are a plant lover and enjoy having small pots with cactus, succulents or other small plants, I bring you a simple idea to remodel the old and opaque pots using seashells, giving a different touch to your spaces and adding another element of nature to your decoration. Let's start!

Materiales | Materials


  • Maceta pequeña
  • Pistola de silicon
  • Barra de silicon
  • Conchas marinas (La cantidad depende del tamaño, yo usé 32 caparazones)


  • Small pot
  • Silicone gun
  • Silicone bar
  • Seashells (The amount depends on the size, I used 32 shells)

Procedimiento

1)Inicia pegando las conchas marinas por el borde superior de la maceta.

Procedure

1)Start by gluing the seashells on the top edge of the pot.

2)Agrega silicon en el borde de la concha y pega la primera fila, que corresponde al borde superior de la maceta.

2)Add silicone to the edge of the shell and glue the first row, which corresponds to the top edge of the pot.



3)Pega la segunda fila de conchas superponiéndolos sobre la primera fila.

3)Paste the second row of shells by superimposing them on the first row.



4)Agrega la tercera fila de conchas superponiéndolas sobre la segunda fila y finaliza colocando la cuarta fila.

4)Add the third row of shells by superimposing them on the second row and finish by placing the fourth row.

Curiosidad: Las conchas marinas las recolecté en conjunto con mi mamá en la Bahía de Juangriego, Estado Nueva Esparta. Desde mi infancia, me gusta ir a la Isla de Margarita, pasearme por la orilla de esta playa y recoger innumerables caparazones de chipi chipi, guacuco, caracoles y más.

Curiosity: I collected the seashells together with my mother in the Bay of Juangriego, State of Nueva Esparta. Since my childhood, I like to go to Margarita Island, walk along the shore of this beach and collect countless shells of chipi chipi, guacuco, snails and more.
