¡Hola a todos! estoy de vuelta acá con el proyecto que mas me ha sido gratificante de terminar hasta el momento, se trata de una ilustración de un nuevo personaje original en el que invertí muchísimo tiempo para terminarlo pero me ha encantado el resultado ya que este es el estilo que he estado buscando y que quiero perfeccionar.

I am back here with the project that has been the most gratifying to me to finish so far, it is an illustration of a new original character in which I invested a lot of time to finish it but I loved the result since this is the style that I have been searching and I want to perfect and after much effort I consider that a very neat work has come out.

Ella es Amber una chica muy fresca con un rostro encantador, le encanta salir a pasear y juntarse con sus amigos, resulta difícil no notarla no solo por su cabellera azul sino por su carisma y elocuente forma de ser, a veces puede pasar por tontita pero no tiene ni un pelo de tonta.

She is Amber, a very cool girl with a charming face, she loves to go for a walk and get together with her friends, it is difficult not to notice her not only for her blue hair but for her charisma and eloquent way of being, sometimes she can look a little silly but She is more smart than you think.

Proceso/Process:

Para hacer esta ilustración use toda la experiencia que he tenido, tome todo lo que me parecía mejor y lo usé en este proyecto, en este caso quise hacer algo al estilo anime, buscando un estilo que me encanta con mucho movimiento, brillo y saturación. La pose que usare para Amber esta en perspectiva visto un poco desde abajo.

To make this illustration use all the experience I have had, I take everything that seemed better to me and used it in this project, in this case I wanted to do something anime style, looking for a style that I love with a lot of movement, brightness and saturation. The pose I will use for Amber is in perspective seen a little from below.

Con esta ilustración pensé en un ropa muy fresca que se le pueda imprimir movimiento, por eso le puse una falda muy suelta y para la parte de arriba un una prenda bastante pegada que no le quite protagonismo al cabello largo y suelto.

With this illustration, I thought of very cool clothes that could give it movement, that's why I put it a very loose skirt and for the top part a very tight garment that does not take the protagonism of long and loose hair.

Después de hacer el trabajo de delinear y colocar el color base viene el trabajo mas interesante, sombras e iluminaciones. Esta vez trabaje de arriba hacia abajo, pintar el cabello fue sumamente gratificante, ver como poco a poco tomaba vida y movimiento el cabello es muy satisfactorio, como lo podréis notar el foco de luz viene de arriba a la derecha por lo que las zonas mas claras están en esa parte, esa es la base de la técnica, luego solo queda destacar las partes que tomarían mas contacto con la luz.

After doing the work of outlining and placing the base color comes the most interesting work, shadows and highlights. This time I worked from top to bottom, painting the hair was extremely gratifying, seeing how little by little the hair took life and movement is very satisfactory, as you can see, the light bulb comes from the top right, so the areas more clear are in that part, that is the basis of the technique, then it only remains to highlight the parts that would make the most contact with light.

Luego del cabello continué con el rostro y la blusa corta, para el rostro estaba buscando una expresión que transmitiera felicidad, una sonrisa natural y delicada, ademas una piel joven y llena de vida. Y para la blusa algo que no destacara mucho que el centro de atención estuviera en el rostro y su cabello como dije antes.

After the hair I continued with the face and the short blouse, for the face I was looking for an expression that conveyed happiness, a natural and delicate smile, in addition to a young and full of life skin. And for the blouse something that did not highlight much, because the center of attention was on the face and her hair as I said before.

Seguí con la cintura y la falda, la parte de la cintura es muy sencilla, iluminando un poco a la derecha y oscureciendo a la izquierda, siempre siguiendo la linea de su torso para no deformarla. En tanto a la falda se complica un poco mas porque tiene capas y mucho movimiento, lo importante acá es buscar la capa de abajo y sombrear, mientras mas profundo mas oscuro, esto no solo da realismo sino que potencia el movimiento que tiene.

I continued with the waist and the skirt, the part of the waist is very simple, illuminating a little to the right and darkening to the left, always following the line of his torso so as not to deform it. The skirt is complicated a little more because it has layers and a lot of movement, the important thing here is to look for the layer below and shade, if are deeper them more darker, this not only gives realism but also enhances the movement it has.

Y ya solo quedan las piernas y las botas, para las piernas en este caso no se puede olvidar la sombra que genera la falda, para hacer esta sombra hay que seguir una linea ovalada en cada pierna porque sino se deformara, y también es importante que toda la parte sea un poco mas oscura porque la fuente de luz esta arriba. Para el caso de las botas es igual la mayor complejidad es que luzcan como un par, es decir, que se note que son del mismo modelo.

And now there are only the legs and the boots, for the legs in this case you cannot forget the shadow that the skirt generates, to make this shadow you have to follow an oval line on each leg because otherwise it will deform, and it is also important that The whole part is a little darker because the light source is up. In the case of boots, it is the same, the greater complexity is that they look like a pair, that is, that it is noted that they are of the same model.
