Saludos! el día de hoy les comparto el mes de julio de mi calendario ilustrado a mano utilizando tintas para impresora y bolígrafo. Si aun no han visto los meses previos les comparto los enlaces al final del post.
Cheers! Today I share with you the month of July from my calendar illustrated by hand using printer inks and ballpoint pen. If you have not seen the previous months yet, I share the links at the end of the post.

En el mes de julio llega el verano y muchas personas en mi país van a la playa, por eso quise dibujar una sirena. Comencé por hacer el boceto con lápiz grafito HB sobre cartulina, posteriormente con mezcla de tinta amarilla con solo un poco de magenta y cian obtuve el color de la arena de la playa para pintar la parte inferior del fondo. Por otro lado utilicé tinta cian para la parte superior del fondo, haciendo una variación tonal con agua y movimiento ondulados del pincel.
Summer comes in July and many people in my country go to the beach, so I wanted to draw a mermaid. I started by making the sketch with HB graphite pencil on cardboard, later with a mixture of yellow ink with just a little magenta and cyan I obtained the color of the sand from the beach to paint the lower part of the background. On the other hand I used cyan ink for the upper part of the background, making a tonal variation with wavy water and brush movement.
Con mezcla de tinta amarilla y magenta con solo un poco de cian obtuve el color para pintar el cabello el cual apliqué con agua en las luces y en estado puro en las áreas oscuras.
With a mixture of yellow and magenta ink with only a little cyan, I obtained the color to paint the hair which I applied with water in the lights and in a pure state in the dark areas.
Pinté la piel con amarillo y un poco de magenta, diluyendo con agua para las zonas iluminadas.
I painted the skin with yellow and a little magenta, diluting with water for the highlighted areas.
Con magenta y un poco de cian obtuve un color purpura para la cola de la sirena, pinté cada escama por separado para lograr un mejor efecto entre las luces y las sombras. Con tinta negra y mucha agua pinté el top que viste la sirena.
With magenta and a little cyan I got a purple color for the mermaid's tail, I painted each scale separately to achieve a better effect between the highlights and the shadows. With black ink and lots of water I painted the top that the mermaid wears.
Con el mismo color que utilicé para la arena pinté el nombre del mes y las iníciales de los días. Con el mismo color de la cola de la sirena pinté los números.
With the same color that I used for the sand I painted the name of the month and the initials of the days. With the same color as the mermaid's tail I painted the numbers.
Con un bolígrafo negro hice los detalles de la piel, el rostro y el cabello.
With a black pen I made the details of the skin, face and hair.
También con el bolígrafo detalle todas las escamas una por una.
Also with the pen, detail all the scales one by one.
Con un lápiz de color durazno hice detalles al rostro y la piel, con lápiz de color naranja hice detalles a las letras.
With a peach colored pencil I made details to the face and skin, with an orange pencil I made details to the letters.
