In this drawing, I was tinkering about our beliefs and various self-made compelling reasons. If you are interested, there is a thought process behind it, as stated in the paragraphs below.

What is it that we assign as gods? Fears, hopes, money, lust, power, beauty, etc.? A god is truly in charge of its disciples, right? And the minions are in sole commitment to reach the divine goal! Thinking about our desires and the effort we take to reach them just reminds me of that.

By the way, where is the real god, or depending on your religion, gods? By real I mean imposed by a religious system. I think even if there is really one or several, it is left behind the hallucinations that we see every day.

Oh yes, speaking of hallucinations, they become our burden of which the kindle of motivation at the beginning, becomes a cracking and fracking pressure later on.

On the other hand, maybe it is not avoidable to be that pessimistic but at the same time happy. In the end, we talk about hallucinations that are like walls around our perception. Do you see the guy just before the bottom? Smiling... Maybe he knows all this is fiction, even if he feels substituted gods, he plays just before the fire, by being aware...

Lastly, I wanted to share with you the sketch that this drawing originated.
