My first NFT...not | Mein ersts NFT...nicht [EN/DE]

Dear friends. I´d really love to be part of this obviously awesome community of NFT-Creators, I have tons of ideas of my artwork animated and I want to share them with you. I even already have a whitelisted profile on @nftshowroom (thanks to you, @juliakponsford & @one.tribe.radio). I´ve read your FAQ and I´m pretty sure I´m able to fulfill all the technical requests.

But!

There are so many (marketing related) questions left and maybe you guys can help me with some of them.

  1. First of all. How do I (do I?!) set the price of my artwork? Who can tell, what it is really worth?

  2. How many editions do I offer to people? How do I make this decision and why?

  3. What is a collection and why do I need one to tokenize one piece of art?

  4. What is a good length of an animation? Is it a good thing to add music or not (does is matter at all)?

  5. Who´s buying NFT art and why. And why are they buying MY art?

I hope you guys get my point and I´m not too blind to see what´s obvious. By the way, the above animation is a snippet of a little lyrics video I made for my husband. I think this might be a nice NFT, isn´t it?

Thank you so much!

Liebe Freunde.

There's not an easy answer to all these questions as some of them are subjective in terms of value and # of editions, artists try different things and see what works!

On nftshowroom the collection name is displayed beside the art and title so if you do different series you can add them to different collections. If you don't want to do that you can just make one collection eg. Patchsworks art and tokenize everything under that one.

We have a max upload of 100mb for Mp4s so the max length will be limited by the ability to compress under that size. I have successfully tokenized a 3 minute music video but more than that would be near impossible lol. You can use the unlockable function to add extra content if you like.

I have made a collection of posts here that have some info on marketing, etiquette suggestions etc that you may find useful. It is pinned in the nftshowroom blog!

That is a beautiful NFT.
As an artist testing the waters of NFTs myself your questions resonate with me.
I already created one but did not push it hard enough. Maybe I will do some more but what really concerns me is the fact that I am not able to view my original NFT on IPFS, which is where I believe it is stored.

Thank you :)
Where are you offering your nft? I know there's a "view on ipfs" button on nftshowroom and it works.

I am also offering my work on NFTshowroom.
I had been having issues trying to show my work on IPFS as I thought it disappeared because it was not be viewed but I just checked again and it is back. So scratch what I said.
I believe there is a lot of undervalued and undiscovered work on NFTshowroom and I think it is a great time to build a collection for when more collectors arrive after getting fleeced by ETH fees.

wow. genial. echt genial. du solltest Musik Videos produzieren statt nfts ;-)

Sooooo sweeeeet 😍

Thank you ❤️

Beautiful work. Really sensitive.
