Adobe Illustrator Spheres

in OnChainArt4 years ago

Here are a few sphere based studies created in Adobe Illustrator.
CutBall01.jpg
Here is a gradient mesh sphere that I sliced apart with the create shape tool. It ended up having an interesting matte metallic texture, similar to a Christmas ornament of sorts.
eye01.jpg
This composition is composed of some gradient meshes and linear blends. It kind of resembles an eye of sorts.
gradientmeshandblends01.jpg
Here is another gradient mesh sphere that I cut in half with some skewed circles and linear blends in the center. Maybe this is some kind of strange gooey technology coated in a matte black paint.
gridtest201.jpg
Here is a science textbook looking illustration of volume and weight. The bright gradient mesh sphere is weighing down the perspective grid in the middle. Heavy duty atoms here.
blendtests1801.jpg
This is some sort of hypnotising spiral created with the transform repeat tool in illustrator.
lineswave01.jpg
This is the logo for the zero calorie zero taste pepsi lol. I just used duplicated lines at different weights with circle masks to create this composition.
3drevolve.jpg
For this one I experimented with the 3d revolve tool in illustrator. The rings around it are just a couple of reversed gradient circles.
blendtests8.jpg
Now for more matte black gradient mesh spheres with a dash of color. This looks to be a prototype of a new amazon music device. Unfortunately during testing it kept rolling off the tables and breaking, but oh did it look so cool.
blendtests901.jpg
This is a simple composition oof circles blending at different angles creating an illusion of depth and dimension.
transformdistort01.jpg
Here is a tricky blend of gradient filled lines to form almost a yin and yang symbol. The background is just a circle gradient placed on the background square.

More Illustrator studies soon... thanks for looking :-)

WOW Cool 😁
Hey ! Chicago got the lucky star ...

Haha got the lucky looters this weekend :-)

😃🍑

Interesting experiment. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, its good for learning different tools that I never really use.
