Hey Hive!
After a break for Christmas and New Years', we're back again with another Art Attack! If you're new to the series, this is where I share my drawings and the process behind them. A behind-the-scenes look at my artwork, if you will. This is not to say that I'm very good at art, or that I'm a professional in any way. In fact this is the opposite, and serves as a reminder to how I first started, and lets me track my progress too!
So this was an art piece I did for one of my streamer friends, who goes by FluffiethePuffle on Twitch! His birthday is in March and when I found out there was a kudoboard (i.e. a digital bulletin board) for his birthday I just had to draw him something!
And yet I didn’t really know what to draw other than him sucking on a lollipop that looks like a foot, mainly because he’s always talking about feet and sucking toes on his streams.. for some reason. Here's a quick 5 second clip just for proof.

I remember this candy quite fondly since it was one of the few candies at the time that came with pop rocks and you would lick it, dip it in the pop rocks and let it pop in your mouth while enjoying the taste of the lollipop. I don't think these exist anymore now, but those were some sweet times, literally.

Anyway, I didn't have much time for this so I just thought I'd go with something simple. I referenced his emote and drew Fluffie chibi style holding the lollipop and enjoying it. I initially wanted to make the lollipop have candles on the toes so it would look more birthday-ish, but then decided against it.
This was the final sketch I came up with, and I thought it looked pretty good! I couldn't really decide on what facial expression to give him but I thought drawing him "enjoying" the lollipop seems apt.
Here's the outline, and I also added in some extra decorations to make it more festive!
And after colouring, we get this! He normally wears a headband with bear ears on it so I tried to draw him wearing that without covering his hair.
I also tried my best to colour the lollipop so it would look more jelly-like or have the right colour since it's kinda semi-translucent irl. I think it turned out alright though, like you can tell it's a lollipop especially with the stick inside it.

I've known Fluffie for a while, and we've played quite a few games together now. It's always fun playing new games together and even though we're on the opposite sides of the world we find a way to make it work. While he can be annoying and immature at times, we're still great friends and I would've have it any other way. I'll always be thankful for having met him and all the other people I've gotten to know on Twitch!
It's been a wild ride, and hopefully we'll continue more this year!
