If we ask how to make pour over coffee, let me explain without going into much detail ...
1. Grinding
To make coffee with pour over, we must finely grind our coffee or buy it this way. If you say I want it to be grinded for paper filter, they will help directly.
2. Preparing the Water
We measure and boil the water we will use for our coffee.
3. Preparing the Pour Over Container
Add the paper filter into the pour over container and add it on the pipe waiter stand. To prevent the paper filter from softening and preventing the taste of the paper from turning into the coffee, wet the paper filter with the water you have heated.
4. Preparing Coffee
We add 2 tablespoons of coffee into the pour over bowl we have prepared.
5. Coffee Pouring Process
We slowly pour the heated water into the pour over bowl. Wait a little until half full of hot water and start the coffee to drip into the glass. Continue adding water as the water runs out in the upper section. Your coffee is ready as the coffee is completely distilled into the glass.
Things to pay attention…
- When pouring the coffee water into the pour over bowl, make sure that the water does not boil. Allow the water to cool for a minute after boiling.
- After wetting the filter paper, be sure to drain the water spilled on the bottom.

1. Öğütme
Pour over ile kahve yapmak için, kahvemizi ince öğütmeli veya bu şekilde satın almalıyız. Kağıt filtresi için öğütülmesini istiyorum derseniz direk yardımcı olurlar zaten.
2. Suyu Hazırlama
Kahvemiz için kullanacağımız suyu ölçüp kaynatıyoruz.
3. Pour Over Kabını Hazırlama
Pour over kabının içerisine kâğıt filtreyi ekleyip, pipe waiter standının üstüne ekleyin. Kâğıt filtrenin yumuşaması, ve kâğıt tadının kahveye geçmesini engellemek için kâğıt filtreyi ısıtmış olduğunuz su ile ıslatın.
4. Kahveyi Hazırlama
Hazırlamış olduğumuz pour over kabının içerisine 2 yemek kaşığı kahvemizi ekliyoruz.
5. Kahve Dökme İşlemi
Isıtılan suyu yavaş yavaş pour over kabının içerisine döküyoruz. Yarısına kadar sıcak su ile doldurup kahvenin bardağa damlamaya başlaması için biraz bekleyin. Üst bölümde su bitmeye başladıkça su eklemeye devam edin. Kahvenin tamamen bardağa damıtılmasıyla kahveniz hazır.
Dikkat Edilmesi Gerekenler…
- Kahve suyunu pour over kabına dökerken suyun kaynar bir şekilde olmamasına dikkat edin. Suyu kaynattıktan sonra bir dakika kadar soğumasını bekleyin.
- Filtre kağıdını ıslattıktan sonra alta dökülen suyu boşaltmayı unutmayın.
