"For the Experienced"

I drew it because I wanted to express something a little stylish, something that people like. It is colored with green like matcha and brown or ocher like Japanese houses, and Japanese paper and buttons are pasted to make a change. After all, I have lived in Kyoto for a long time, so I wanted to draw a world unique to Kyoto.
I was cleaning, checking my baggage, and drawing pictures again today.
I will draw until tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow I will stop for now to concentrate on preparing for my solo exhibition.

「通好み」
ミクストメディア、24.2x33.3cm、2021
ちょっと粋なもの、通好みのもの、そういうものを表現したくて描きました。抹茶のような緑と、日本家屋のような茶色や黄土色の絵の具で着色し、和紙やボタンを貼り付けて変化をつけました。やはり私は長年京都に住んでいるから、京都らしい世界も描いてみたかったのです。
今日も掃除をして、荷物の確認をして、絵を描いていました。
絵は明日まで描いて、明後日は個展の準備に専念するためひとまず中断です。
