"Hot Spring"

Once upon a time I loved going to hot springs and often went on hot spring trips, so I painted these happy memories. I have not been there since the Corona disaster. There was a small open-air hot spring in Unazuki, I think it was, and I have particularly fond memories of being able to monopolize it. And Beppu. It was nice to feel that I had really traveled there. But it is hard to go too far away. I would like to relax in a nearby hot spring.

「温泉」
ミクストメディア、45.5x53cm、2023
むかしは私は温泉に行くのが大好きで、温泉旅行にもよく行ったので、そんな楽しかった思い出を絵にしました。コロナ禍以降は行ってませんが。宇奈月温泉だったか、小さな露天風呂があって、そこを独占して入れたのは特にいい思い出です。あと別府。いかにも旅をしたという感じで良かったです。でもあまり遠くへ行くのはしんどいですね。近場の温泉でゆっくりしたいです。
