"Path Out of the Atmosphere"

Outside the atmosphere, it is already defined as space. Although the Federation Internationale de l'Aviation defines space as being from an altitude of 100 km up, the atmosphere rises even higher, exceeding an altitude of 500 km. In other words, academically, the altitude around 400 km where the ISS is flying is still in the atmosphere.
The dream of flying into space, traveling or emigrating is something more people will hope for and experience. Various projects are under way to achieve this, but one of the most interesting is to fly passengers in balloons to the stratosphere (at an altitude of 10 - 50 km). I found several articles about a venture company called Space Perspective in my search.
This painting expresses the eternal dream and hope of humans going out of the atmosphere.

「大気圏外への道」
ミクストメディア、22x27.3cm、2021
大気圏外、そこはもう既に宇宙と定義されます。国際航空連盟は高度100kmから上を宇宙と定義していますが、大気圏はさらに高くまで、高度500kmを超えます。つまり学術的には、ISSが飛行している高度400kmあたりはまだ大気圏内ということになります。
宇宙への飛行、あるいは旅行、あるいは移住への夢はこれからよりたくさんの人が希望し、経験することになると思います。そのために様々なプロジェクトが行われていますが、中でも私の興味をひいたのが気球で成層圏（高度10～50km)まで旅客飛行するというものです。 Space Perspective というベンチャー企業の記事が、検索でいくつか見つかりました。
この絵は大気圏外へ向かう人間のあくなき夢と希望を表現したものです。
