"Spiral galaxy"

A spiral galaxy is a galaxy that has spiral arms (many of which are further branched) coming out from a round, stellar core. A spiral galaxy is a galaxy with spiral arms (many of which branch off further) emerging from a round central core of dense stellar material. So they say. In addition to spiral galaxies, there are many other types of galaxies in the universe, such as elliptical galaxies and lenticular galaxies.
I'm fascinated by space, but I'm not rich and I'm not strong enough to go into space. Well, I'll just gaze at the sky.

これは私が創った作品です。
「渦巻銀河」
ミクストメディア、38x45.5cm、2021
渦巻銀河というのはコトバンクによると「銀河分類の一つ。恒星が密集した丸い中心核から渦巻状の腕が出て（腕の先がさらに枝分れするものも多い）いる銀河。」だそうです。なんとなく渋い色の銀河を描いてみましたが、宇宙には渦巻銀河以外にも楕円銀河・レンズ状銀河など色々あって、そこまで調べると私には難しい言葉がいっぱい出てきました。
宇宙には憧れますが、私はお金持ちじゃないし体力もないから、宇宙空間へ行くのは難しいですね。まあ、空を眺めているだけでいいです。
