El reto propuesto para el día numero 17 dibujando a Benedict Cumberbatch fue llorando, como buena fan comencé a investigar en diferentes redes para conseguir la foto que más me gustará y me topé con una en la cual se encuentra desconsolado hablando por teléfono en este momento aún no sabía a qué película pertenecía y luego descubrí que se trataba de la serie Patrick Melrose un drama que se centra en la vida de un adicto a las drogas y al alcohol con un traumático pasado.
The challenge proposed for the 17th day drawing Benedict Cumberbatch was crying, as a good fan I began to investigate in different networks to get the photo that I would like the most and I came across one in which he is heartbroken talking on the phone at this moment still I didn't know which movie it belonged to and then I found out that it was the Patrick Melrose series, a drama that focuses on the life of a drug and alcohol addict with a traumatic past.
El primer paso para le realización de este retrato fue realizar el encaje del rostro en el papel esto permite tener una referencia de las dimensiones que tendrá y el espacio que abarcará el dibujo, posteriormente dibujar las líneas guías para posicionar los rasgos del rostro, y tomar las medidas del rostro de referencia para asegurar que quede bien proporcionado
The first step for the realization of this portrait was to make the lace of the face on the paper, this allows to have a reference of the dimensions that it will have and the space that the drawing will cover, then draw the guidelines to position the features of the face, and take reference face measurements to ensure that it is well proportioned
Seguidamente, se procede a valorizar el rostro, la técnica con la que me siento más cómoda actualmente es mediante el tramado comienzo realizando tramas en sentido vertical, luego en sentido horizontal y luego líneas oblicuas como formando un asterisco, siempre controlando la presión del lápiz dependiendo de la zona, las zonas más claras bastan con dos sentidos de tramas y presión mínima, mientras que las áreas más oscuras una mayor concentración de tramas y más presión del lápiz.
Next, we proceed to enhance the face, the technique with which I feel most comfortable at the moment is by means of hatching, I start by making wefts vertically, then horizontally and then oblique lines like forming an asterisk, always controlling the pressure of the pencil depending on In the area, the lighter areas are sufficient with two wefts directions and minimal pressure, while the darker areas have a higher concentration of wefts and more pen pressure.
En el caso de los cabellos suelo realizar una técnica diferente la cual consiste en realizar trazos en dirección de los cabellos, siempre observando cuidadosamente las áreas de luz para hacer trazos más claros o dejarlos totalmente blancos, considero que de esta forma se puede crear más realismo en los cabellos.
In the case of hair, I usually carry out a different technique which consists of making strokes in the direction of the hair, always carefully observing the areas of light to make strokes lighter or leave them completely white, I believe that in this way more realism can be created in the hair.
Por último, aporte los detalles de la ropa dibuje las arrugas de su camisa, valorice igualmente el teléfono y su mano también mediante la técnica de tramas, misma que utilice para rellenar todo el fondo.
Finally, add the details of the clothes, draw the wrinkles on your shirt, also enhance the phone and your hand also through the weft technique, which you use to fill in the entire background.
