El reto propuesto para este día fue modificado para mi conveniencia, en este punto ya había descubierto la serie Patrick Melrose y como buena fan, comencé a verla de inmediato y quería con todo mi ser dibujarlo usando el parche que usa en el primer episodio de la serie, por esto el reto para el día 18 fue Parche.

Una de las partes que me gusta más de la anatomía humana son las manos, siempre me parecen muy interesante y me gusta comprender su forma y posiciones para poder dibujarla, por eso desde hace dos retratos atrás comencé a incluirlas en los retratos, en este retrato aparecen ambas manos y me sentí muy orgullosa de los resultados.

El primer paso que realizo antes de realizar un retrato es delimitar un pequeño margen de 1.5cm de desde el borde del papel esto para una presentación mucho más limpia, seguidamente procedí a hacer el encaje del rostro en el papel, algo muy importante es ubicar la inclinación del rostro para esto se traza una línea por el medio del rostro y una que crucé justo en la línea de los ojos formando una cruz.

Con el dibujo lineal terminado procedí a valorizar el rostro mediante el uso de tramas yuxtapuestas comenzando desde la parte central del rostro hacia a fuera suelo hacer las tramas los más tupidas posible para crear una textura tersa, es importante controlar la presión del lápiz dependiendo de la zona en la que se esté trabajando, en las áreas más claras la presión debe der mínima y más presión y un lápiz de trazo más oscuro en las zonas más oscuras.

With the finished line drawing, I proceeded to enhance the face by using juxtaposed wefts starting from the central part of the face outwards. Para definir los cabellos suelo hacerlo mediante trazos en dirección de los cabellos y seccionar el cabello por mechones ayuda a que el proceso sea mucho más ordenado, siento que esta es la técnica más adecuada generar líneas más expresivas contribuye a dar realismo al cabello además te permite definir mucho mejor las zonas más iluminadas.

Para finalizar, genere en el traje igualmente tramas yuxtapuestas dibuje algunos detalles en su corbata, así como los presentes en el traje como los bolsillos y ojales, seguidamente valorice todo el fondo de un tono mucho más bajo desde la parte derecha generando un degradado hacia la parte izquierda y por ultimo agregue una fina capa de barniz en espray para protegerlo.
