Recently I got a commission request from my friend after she saw me drawing a lot of hamster stuff online. She requested a painting for her lovely hamster that passed away recently. It's name is Moo Moo.
So I made a couple of designs from her request of Moo Moo standing on a sunflower, with a couple photos reference of her hamster.
This is moo moo, her fur colour looks similar to a cow, black and white. Isn't it cute?

At the end, she just wanted something very simple as a memory for her hamster. I added a sunflower seed for Moo Moo to hold. xD
She requested to draw as similar to her hamster as possible, so I changed the style to a more realistic approach.
This is my 1st time trying to paint a sunflower, gonna need a couple of reference.
Continuing rendering and modifying
Time to render the name board.
Added it's name.
Some texture and grains to the name, and also nails.
At the end, we both agreed that using white background would look better. So I drew some sunflower patterns behind to complete the painting. She also instructed and we change some features of her hamster to make it look more similar to Moo Moo and she was happy with it! I was very glad.
