in The Chess Community5 months ago (edited)

Hello everyone.
Round 7 of Season 21 , 29 players, time mode 2 + 1 and 178 games played.
For me, the first half of the tournament was a disaster and the rest was much better. No 20 in the end.

Lets go over top 10 players and some moments in their games.

Winner

Tournament winner was @maestroask (Odnoobraz_bcm). All wins yet again. Nothing new for Friday chess tournament. Congratulations.
@maestroask is second in Tournament 4 with only 2 points behind first place. Quite close.
We have Knight fork . Very nice knight fork after opponents blunder.
King, Queen and Rook included.

Second place

Runner up was @samostically (ZGM_Samostically). Seems like @samostically get used to being in the top of the group. Leader in the Tournament 4 with 1 round missed. Performance is top notch in the last rounds. Congrats.
Berserking first game against strong opponent was nice mouse speed check. And move in time scramble that won the game.

Third place

Third place for @dhilan04 (tortyllan). Only third appearance this season and second time to be third place. 56% berserk rate. More appearances would increase tournament overall competitiveness. Congratulations.

Berserking in first game, wining in 53 move game with 27.7 seconds left. So in 32.3 seconds @dhilan04 managed to play 53 moves, promote one Queen and was one move from promoting other. Less than a second per move - around 0.61 seconds per move. Super game.

4th Place

Forth place in this round was @eniolw (eniowl). After third place in round 5 now top 5 finish. Only three loos out of 13 games. One of stronger players and it would be nice to see you more in tournaments.
We have one fast game. Only 50 seconds. 19 Moves. Both players with 5 and 7 seconds spent plus 1 second increment for each move. Speed vs speed. @eniolw wins.
