With the opening "Old Benoni", which comes after 1.d4 c5, we had a great opening on the boards. Since it is played by the strongest players in the world, Magnus Carlsen and Caruana Fabiano, it cannot be that bad. Unfortunately, I couldn't prepare myself sufficiently and had to play on the second move without any theoretical knowledge. Surprisingly, only one game was not played in Benoni, but the player immediately apologized and just forgot about it. It was up to the players to play the first black move "c5", since this opening was not offered by Lichess. In a few days this season will end with a double tournament, the rules of which are not yet known. Proposals can still be submitted.

Mit der Eröffnung "Old Benoni", die nach 1.d4 c5 entsteht hatten wir eine tolle Eröffnung auf den Brettern. Da sie von den stärksten Spielern dieser Welt, Magnus Carlsen und Caruana Fabiano, gespielt wird kann sie so schlecht nicht sein. Leider konnte ich mich nicht ausreichend vorbereiten und musste bereits im zweiten Zug ohne Theoriekenntnisse spielen. Überraschender Weise wurde nur ein einziges Spiel nicht in Benoni gespielt, der Spieler hat sich aber sofort entschuldigt und es einfach vergessen. War es doch Aufgabe der Spieler den ersten schwarzen Zug "c5" zu spielen, da diese Eröffnung nicht von Lichess angeboten wurde. In wenigen Tagen endet diese Saison mit einem Doppelturnier dessen Regeln noch nicht bekannt sind. Vorschläge können noch eingereicht werden.
