Hivechess Tournament Round 1: The winner was @sawko

Dear Chessfriends,

the fourth season of Hivechess tournaments started with 12 players and a very strong field, the average rating was 1887 (third highest so far!).
@sawko (sawkito) was the winner with 7,5 points out of 9, he was only once defeated (by his brother @vjap55!) - Congratulations! 0,5 points behind him were @jaki01 (2^nd) and @yazp (zulukill) (3^rd), only separated by the tie break. Of note, @yazp had the highest average opponent (1978) and the highest tournament performance of the day (2292)! The 4^th place went to @zacherybinx (sirtetris) and behind him 3 players had the same points, but a different tie break: @vjap55 (5^th), myself (6^th) and @pereu4ivatel (drakOnb) (7^th). The last tournament point @schamangerbert (HerbyW) could grab, closely ahead of @maciejficek (XM9000). He and @rafaelaquino (ajedrezclub2t) had some initial internet problems, like so often in Venezuela. Nevertheless chess in Venezuela seems to be very popular, we had 4 players from this country yesterday !
