Hivechess Tournament Round 3: @eniolw was the winner!

Dear Chessfriends,

in round 3 we were 9 players and the average rating (1857) was again higher than last time. Since it was a Swiss tournament, almost everybody could play against each other.
It was finally the day of @eniolw in this season! Despite having some internet connection issues in the beginning, it ended well for him and after an initial loss against @pereu4ivatel (drakOnb), he won all his games. Congratulations! In the game against the tournament leader, @jaki01 blundered in a rook-knight endgame and @eniolw could grab a rook for free - that made the decision. Second was @jaki01 who played solid as always apart from the game against @eniolw and in his game against myself I could draw in a lost position due to his time running up seconds before I would have been mated. This brought me the third rank. Next ranks went to @yazp (zulukill) (4th) and @pereu4ivatel (drakOnb) (5th) with the same points but @yazp having the better tie break.
The remaining tournament points went to @rafaelaquino (ajedrezclub2t) (6th), @evgsk (evgchess) (7th) and @maciejficek (XM9000) (8th). @rodrook was left with the unlucky 9th position today in this strong field.

The rules you can look up in the announcement post.

Not much changes this time. @eniolw is still fourth, but sneaked again closer to the Top3 and if he continues like this, everything is possible. After him there is now quite a gap, so it looks as if it will get increasingly difficult for the rest of the field to catch up.

See you next week and keep practicing!
Anyone for a bullet round?
