I hope you have had a happy start of the year and that in this 2022 you can achieve all the goals you set, of course improve a little more the level of chess should be among the priorities hahaha.
In this article I continue with the series where I analyze my games played in the Pan American Championship, this is game number 6.

Espero que hayan tenido un feliz incoo de año y que en este 2022 puedan cumplir todos los objetivos que se propongan, por supuesto mejorar un poquito más el nivel de ajedrez debería estar entre las prioridades jajaja.
En este articulo continuo con la serie en donde analizo mis partidas jugadas en el Panamericano, esta es la partida numero 6.

The tournament was ending and as you may know, in a Swiss tournament the final rounds are decisive so as far as possible you have to score. In round number 6 I had to face again one of my teammates, more specifically I had to face on the board my great friend Harlen who was the best classified of the Panamerican, the game had to be played! I had already played with him on a few occasions with more or less even results, in active games he has the lead because he is a pretty fast player, as for the classic games if the balance is a little more level.
I had the white pieces and my opponent as usual decided to use the Scandinavian defense. I tell you this was a fairly short game but with some interesting tactical complications, once again I had the opportunity to stay with a good advantage at a certain point of the game but I overlooked several key moves, however the game in general was quite entertaining.
El torneo estaba terminando y como ustedes sabrán, en un torneo suizo las rondas finales son decisivas así que en la medida de lo posible hay que puntuar. En la ronda número 6 me tocaba enfrentar nuevamente a uno de mis compañeros de equipo, más específicamente me tocaba encarar en el tablero a mi gran amigo Harlen quien era el mejor clasificado del panamericano, la partida debía disputarse! Ya yo había jugado con el en unas cuantas ocasiones con resultados más o menos parejos, en partidas activas el tiene la delantera pues es un jugador bastante rápido, en cuanto a los encuentros clásicos si está un poco más nivelada la balanza.
Yo llevaba las piezas blancas y mi rival como de costumbre decidió emplear la defensa Escandinava. Ya les digo este fue una partida bastante corta pero con unas complicaciones tácticas bastante interesantes, una vez más tenia la oportunidad de quedarme con una buena ventaja en determinado punto del juego pero dejé pasar por alto varias jugadas claves, sin embargo el encuentro en geneal estuvo bastante entretenido.
