But having specified this point, I continue with the explanation of Levi. We know little about Levi's childhood. But among other things, we know that he is the son of a prostitute and that on many occasions she was encouraged not to have the baby. However, she loved her son very much after having him and unfortunately lost her life to a strange illness when she was young. This caused several consequences in Levi's life. One of them is the adaptation that he had to undergo in order to fend for himself: eating from his own work and taking advantage of his abilities. Levi's obsession is cleanliness and health, and his compulsion is having to do everything constantly. He even goes so far as to clean his sword in the middle of a fight just so it wouldn't be dirty. This disorder can be understood given Levi's upbringing, imagining that he lived in a highly polluted environment with high amounts of trash and filth the whole time. This was an extremely aversive stimulus for little Levi. It later became his priority in life, constantly cleaning his house and imposing this culture on all his squads, constantly checking if they complied with the cleanliness he ordered. This added characteristic of Levi's.
