I bumped into this anime series while searching a good show on Netflix. The trailer just caught my attention, and I started watching Little Witch Academia. I've always been fan of loose animation in which deformation of characters and environment happens while in the action to give a sense of motion, power, speed, or intensity. This show clearly had it, so I kept watching till the end.
Me encontré con esta serie de anime mientras buscaba un buen programa en Netflix. El tráiler simplemente me llamó la atención y comencé a ver Little Witch Academia. Siempre he sido fanático de la animación suelta en la que la deformación de los personajes y el entorno ocurre durante la acción para dar una sensación de movimiento, potencia, velocidad o intensidad. Este programa claramente lo tenía, así que seguí mirando hasta el final.
What is Little Witch Academia? it is the story of a little girl, Atsuko Kagari, who dreams of becoming an amazing witch like her Idol, Shiny Chariot. She saw a magic how when little and since then it became her goal. Now, the determination of this underdog character is really strong. It is always lovely to see someone rise up to the expectations of her dream until it is fulfilled. That's one of the main sources of entertainment with this show.
¿Qué es Little Witch Academia? es la historia de una niña, Atsuko Kagari, que sueña con convertirse en una bruja increíble como su ídolo, Shiny Chariot. Ella vio un cómo mágico cuando era pequeña y desde entonces se convirtió en su objetivo. Ahora, la determinación de este personaje desvalido es realmente fuerte. Siempre es hermoso ver a alguien estar a la altura de las expectativas de su sueño hasta que se cumple. Esa es una de las principales fuentes de entretenimiento de este programa.

Another good reason to watch it was the humor in it. The humor expressions are taken almost over the limits with Akko (atsuko Kagari) and her roomies. While some chapters are dedicated to the main plot, others simply show humor and Akko's connections with others.
Otra buena razón para verlo fue el humor. Las expresiones de humor se llevan casi al límite con Akko (atsuko Kagari) y sus compañeros de cuarto. Mientras que algunos capítulos están dedicados a la trama principal, otros simplemente muestran humor y las conexiones de Akko con otros.

Lastly, as I learned the true main plot for this story, I just had to keep watching and find out the mistery surrounding Akko being chosen by an impressive magic tool, the shiny Rod. Added to this, the lack of magic in the world, and the mistery behind the Nine Olde Witches increased my interest.
Por último, cuando aprendí la verdadera trama principal de esta historia, solo tenía que seguir mirando y descubrir la verdad de un misterio que rodea a Akko siendo elegido por una impresionante herramienta mágica, la brillante Vara. Sumado a esto, la falta de magia en el mundo y el misterio detrás de las Nueve Brujas Antiguas aumentaron mi interés.

School scenarios are always great to portrait all kinds of interactions. THe School is Luna Nova, and Shiny Chariot became a witch there. Akko names the best student of the school her rival, and tries to surpass her (in her own way at least). This girl is Diana Cavendish. As the plot develops the relationship between them takes twists and strengthen.
El escenario de la escuela siempre es excelente para retratar todo tipo de interacciones. Es Luna Nova, y Shiny Chariot se convirtió en una bruja allí. Akko nombra a la mejor estudiante de la escuela como su rival e intenta superarla (al menos a su manera). Esta chica es Diana Cavendish. A medida que la trama se desarrolla, la relación entre ellas toma giros y se fortalece.

Bad sides? every shows has them. In this story, the modern era versus the magic world wasn't something very attractive for me. Also, sometimes humor gets overdone, and certain chapters not related to the plot just feel like a akko-filling. Nonetheless, once the story line returned to the main plot, everything was good again.
Lados malos? todos los programas los tienen. En esta historia, la era moderna versus el mundo mágico no era algo muy atractivo para mí. Además, a veces el humor se exagera y ciertos capítulos no relacionados con la trama simplemente se sienten como un relleno de akko. No obstante, una vez que la trama volvió a la hilo principal, todo volvió a estar bien.
I had a great time watching this show, and I want to see the Ovas. I heard even videogames exist, so it became quite something since its release. You'll have a little bit of everything, and a good mystical magic story to unveil with each chapter. If you watch it, let me know and let us comment!
