Antes cabe aclarar que es opinión personal y que cada opinión es... okey me dejo de bromas, es Elfen Lied. Va de que Lucy es una Diclonius, seres con cuernos y poderes telequineticos, que escapa de unas instalaciones de investigación en una isla asesinando a todos guardias. Momentos antes de escapar, un francotirador le dispara, provocándole una herida y cae inconsciente por un acantilado al mar. A la mañana siguiente, un joven llamado Kouta y su prima Yuka pasean esa tarde por la playa donde encuentran a Lucy. A causa del impacto en la cabeza, esta desarrolla una doble personalidad, la nueva personalidad es dócil, inofensiva e incapaz de decir otra cosa que Nyu (así no funcione la amnesia pero bueno). Sin saber qué hacer con ella la llevan a la posada para curarle la herida y cuidarla (aunque yo que tu avisaría a la policía).

Recuerdo cuando me gustaba esta cosa en los tiempos en que era ultra fan de Slipknot y mi pelo tapaba un ojo, ahora le digo “gracias” de manera irónica por inspirar otros Animes Gore que, en vez de darnos acción descerebrada como en Hellsing, quieren vendernos un drama victimizando a sus personajes. Ni siquiera puedo describir la premisa sin resaltar sus falencias. Lo de la amnesia es una excusa para que haya un conflicto con el protagonista, porque las psicópatas con dobles personalidades les parecían cool y porque “que Kawaii es Nyu”. La serie se esfuerza en darle a todo mundo un pasado trágico hasta a los que no aportan nada (si, hablo de Mayu) y el de Lucy es particularmente Edgy porque de niña era discriminada por sus cuernos hasta el punto de matarle a su perrito, los niños pueden ser crueles pero estos son ya psicópatas precoces.
I remember when I liked this thing back in the days when I was an ultra Slipknot fan and my hair covered one eye, now I say "thank you" in an ironic way for inspiring other Gore Animes that, instead of giving us brainless action like in Hellsing, want to sell us drama by victimizing their characters. I can't even describe the premise without highlighting its flaws. The amnesia thing is an excuse for there to be a conflict with the main character, because the psychopaths with dual personalities seemed cool to them and because "how Kawaii is Nyu". The series makes an effort to give everyone a tragic past even to those who contribute nothing (yes, I'm talking about Mayu) and Lucy's is particularly Edgy because as a child she was discriminated because of her horns to the point of killing her puppy, children can be cruel but these are already precocious psychopaths.

Y para finalizar, nunca entendí porque en el opening hacen referencia a las pinturas Gustav Klimt, ni siquiera puedo asumir que el director era fan de este porque igual no encaja con la serie y la hace parecer pretenciosa.
