Todo empieza con nuestra protagonista cuyo nombre es el mismo de este anime Violet Evergarden, una joven y bella muchacha cuyo único significado en la vida había sido ser un arma de guerra, Violet no compre muy bien nada sobre la vida ni los sentimientos y solo se limitaba a hacer su trabajo como soldado y ser muy talentosa y un arma letal. En el primer episodio descubrimos a Violet recuperándose en un hospital debido a que en su última misión sufrió la perdida de sus dos brazos y ahora tiene dos prótesis metálicas funcionales al mejor estilo Steampunk. Para Violet solo existía una persona en la quien confiaba y a la cual obedecía sin preguntar, el Mayor Gilbet pero el muere en la última batalla de los dos y Violet queda al cuidado del mayor Hodgins un amigo de Gilbet y quien decide hacerse cargo de ella y ayudarla a volver a una vida normal luego de la guerra.

El desarrollo de este anime es sin duda genial en el aspecto personal y emocional de Violet, vamos conociendo poco a poco sobre su pasado y la razón de su personalidad tan fría y forma de ser, del mismo modo Violet poco a poco va entendiendo la vida y descubriendo como son las emociones, tristezas y alegrías de la vida, se acerca a lograr entender el significado del amor y descubre lo que en realidad ella sentida por el Mayor Gilbet. Del mismo modo resulta bastante triste ver las dificultados que enfrenta Violet y como lucha tanto para logar entender las cosas más sencillas de la vida. Este anime sin duda es una muy buena opción para ver y que sin duda te hace sentir bastante triste en algunas escenas pero del mismo te tiene expectativo a los próximos capítulos para ver cómo avanza la historia. Violet Evergarden también cuenta con una película muy buena la cual recomiendo si te gusto el anime.
