Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, el día de hoy comparto con ustedes este dibujo de un ángel que realicé como parte de una de las asignaciones de dibujo de la Academia de arte en la que estoy, donde está vez nos pidieron realizar un dibujo aplicando una gama de colores de tonos fríos, para empezar a poner en práctica la teoría y psicología del color, logrando transmitir emociones a través de los colores que usemos o de reforzar el mensaje que queríamos transmitir. Este es sólo uno de los diversos dibujos que nos pidieron en esta asignación.
Greetings friends of #hive and #alienart, today I share with you this drawing of an angel that I made as part of one of the drawing assignments of the art academy where I am, where this time we were asked to make a drawing applying a range of colors of cold tones, to begin to put into practice the theory and psychology of color, managing to convey emotions through the colors we use or to reinforce the message we wanted to convey. This is just one of several drawings that we were asked to do in this assignment.
En esta ilustración trató de reflejar la melancolía, y el vacío que a veces pasa por nosotros al recordar esos momentos en los que fuimos felices o que alguien nos hizo felices, pero que ahora es sólo un recuerdo que sabemos que no volveremos a vivir, sintiendo esa sensación fría y vacía que recorre nuestro ser por un instante. Ese sentimiento de triste nostalgia que no deja al ángel poder elevar sus alas como antes, haciendo difícil a veces recordar cómo era su viejo ser lleno de calor y alegría, en comparación con su nueva versión, la cual ha olvidado lo hermosa y mística que es.
In this illustration tried to reflect the melancholy, and the emptiness that sometimes passes through us when we remember those moments when we were happy or someone made us happy, but now it is just a memory that we know we will not live again, feeling that cold and empty feeling that runs through our being for an instant. That feeling of sad nostalgia that doesn't allow the angel to raise her wings as before, making it difficult sometimes to remember how her old self was full of warmth and joy, compared to her new version, which has forgotten how beautiful and mystical she is.

Realice la base del dibujo usando el lápiz digital y el color azul, haciendo la pose del ángel, para después definirla con el color morado, agregando las alas y la vestimenta.
Make the base of the drawing using the digital pencil and blue color, making the angel's pose, and then define it with the purple color, adding the wings and the clothing.
Realice el trabajo de línea sencillo y sesgado ya que lo iría eliminando poco a poco y realicé la base de color, para proceder a aplicar la base de óleo en las partes de los brazos y el rostro.
I made the line work simple and biased since I would be eliminating it little by little and I made the color base, to proceed to apply the oil base in the parts of the arms and the face.
Después con el aerógrafo degrada esas zonas y aplique puntos y retoques de luz. Luego realicé una base de óleo en una nueva capa en la zona del vestido, usando varios tonos de azul.
Then with the airbrush I degraded those areas and applied dots and light retouching. Then I made an oil base in a new layer in the area of the dress, using various shades of blue.
Con el aerógrafo degrade y realicé contraste con el negro, después realicé un degradado más brillante en la parte final del vestido, para que este se viera luminoso. Detallé el ala con el aerógrafo, utilizando negó y un azul brillante. También detalle el brazalete del brazo.
With the airbrush I degraded and made contrast with the black, then I made a brighter gradient in the final part of the dress, to make it look luminous. I detailed the brim with the airbrush, using black and a bright blue. I also detailed the bracelet on the arm.
Detalle el cabello utilizando el pincel de "cabello delgado" utilizando negro, azul y retoques de rosado. Para el orbe utilice pequeños brillos de diversos colores.
I detailed the hair using the "thin hair" brush using black, blue and touches of pink. For the orb I used small glitters of various colors.
Apliqué una base de negro y la retoque con azul, morado y rozado. También hice una base de un azul medio verdoso debajo del ángel. Realicé un cuarto de Luna, y llené parte del cielo nocturno con pequeñas estrellas.
I applied a base of black and retouched it with blue, purple and brushed it. I also made a base of a medium greenish blue under the angel. I made a quarter moon, and filled part of the night sky with small stars.
Hacer un dibujo sólo con colores fríos sin duda fue algo que me puso a pensar, ya que estoy muy acostumbrado a trabajar más con tonos cálidos
, siendo muy pocas las veces en que predominan los fríos sobre estos. La sensación de melancolía al ver el dibujo me gusta, en especial porque el dibujo de por sí debía transmitir un sentimiento al espectador, siendo ese otro punto que tenía que tener en cuenta al momento de elaborarlo, espero les guste este dibujo, uno de los varios de esta asignación.
Doing a drawing only with cold colors was certainly something that made me think, since I am very used to work more with warm tones, being very few times in which cold tones predominate over these. I like the feeling of melancholy when I see the drawing, especially because the drawing itself should convey a feeling to the viewer, being that another point that I had to take into account at the time of elaborating it, I hope you like this drawing, one of several of this assignment.
