Ayer pasé casi todo el día en la cama ocupándome de hacer esta ilustración en un programa que encontré hace muchos meses y que me ha dejado un flechazo porque no le envidio demasiado ni Photoshop ni hablar de una versión gratuita de Krita o GIMP. Me dediqué a realizar con todo lujo de detalles (hasta donde mis conocimientos pueden) a esta mujer que es una de mis ilustraciones de este año para Inktober.
No sé en qué día específicamente hice este dibujo a pluma pero cabe señalar que lo he modificado un poco y eso lo veremos más adelante.
Yesterday I spent almost the whole day in bed taking care of doing this illustration in a program that I found many months ago and that has left me with a crush because I don't envy it too much or Photoshop or to talk about a free version of Krita or GIMP. I dedicated myself to making with great detail (as far as my knowledge can) this woman who is one of my illustrations this year for Inktober.
I don't know what day specifically I made this pen drawing but it should be noted that I have modified it a bit and we will see that later.
Usé dos programas: principalmente Ibis paint y para dar unos detalles de iluminación y añadir el fondo usé GIMP.
I used two programs: mainly Ibis paint and to give some lighting details and add the background I used GIMP.
Para empeazar usé una capa transparente para copiar el trazo y poder hacer un cambio ligero respecto al modelo original. Así empecé a dar el color más básico.
To start with I used a transparent layer to copy the stroke and to be able to make a slight change from the original model. So I started to give the most basic color.
Prosigiendo con la difuminacion dí los primeros toques de color. Fuí añadiendo color poco a poco, porque se me hace muy dificil aún poner todos los colores y solo difuminar y sacar forma como hacen algunas personas que ya tienen la tecnica mas pulida.
Continuing with the blurring, I gave the first touches of color. I was adding color little by little, because it is still very difficult for me to put all the colors and just blur and shape as some people who already have the most polished technique do.
A esta altura del llenado de color y difuminado me percaté de un error en el diseño original y mas que percatarme lo recordé porque al empezar a trabajar el una de las manos vino a mi mente que una de ellas estaba esproporcionada. Nada que ver con una perspectiva, solo estaba muy grande y tuve que tomarme un poco de tiempo para redimensionar la base de color de la mano junto con la segunda capa de color que acababa de hacer.
At this point in the color filling and blending I realized an error in the original design and more than realizing it I remembered it because when I started working on one of the hands it came to my mind that one of them was out of proportion. Nothing to do with perspective, it was just too big and I had to take a bit of time to resize the color base of the hand along with the second layer of color I just did.
Seguía añadiendo poco a poco color para dar profundidad y a la vez trabajaba en los labios y en darle unas pestañas espesas pero lo mas realistas posibles, por suerte Ibis Paint cuenta con una colección de pinceles que me ahorró hacer las pestañas pelo por pelo. Hurra.
I kept adding color little by little to give depth and at the same time working on the lips and giving her thick but realistic eyelashes, luckily Ibis Paint has a collection of brushes that saved me from doing the eyelashes hair by hair. Hurrah.
Aquí sigo añadiendo contraste y diseñano las cejas con un pincel muy parecido al que usé para las pestañas. Con un par de pinceles que Ibis Paint ofrece para el cabello pude lograr este acabado que me gustó mucho. Amo Ibis Paint y amo pensar que esto se puede logran en un telefono de 2 gb de ram y 6,53 pulgadas.
Here I continue adding contrast and drawing in the brows with a brush very similar to the one I used for the lashes. With a couple of brushes that Ibis Paint offers for hair, I was able to achieve this finish that I really liked. I love Ibis Paint and I love to think that this can be done on a 2gb ram 6.53 inch phone.
Para finalizar di unos toque de iluminacion en general y i por terminao mi trabajo en Ibis Paint para luego moverme a trabajar en GIMP. Cabe destacar que pude haber terminado todo este proyecto sin Gimp pero para mie ste programa e GNU tiene una herramienta que amo y es que hay una especie e pincel especial par aquemar y blanquear areas que que fueron un complemento especial para el contraste y la iluminación.
To finish I gave a touch of lighting in general and I finally finished my work in Ibis Paint and then moved on to work in GIMP. It should be noted that I could have finished this whole project without Gimp but for me this GNU program has a tool that I love and that is that there is a kind of special brush to burn and whiten areas that were a special complement for contrast and lighting.
Estoy impresionada, aunque el final ya era pesado difuminar en Ibis Paint por el peso que había aquirido la imagen. Todo resultó mucho mejor e lo que esperaba y debo confesar que no esperaba un resultado muy "pro" pero... facinaa, estoy facinada. Ya deseo tener una tableta gráfica.
I'm impressed, although the final was already heavy to blur in Ibis Paint due to the weight that the image had acquired. Everything turned out much better than I expected and I must confess that I didn't expect a very "pro" result but... I'm delighted, I am delighted. I already wish I had a graphics tablet.

You are very detailed. 😍😃 What you say is very accurate with what I try to do with my drawings. It's more part of my personal style, although I can also work on realism.
