Disorder
Today I present to you the second watercolor painting that I made to illustrate a book of poems which deals with the existential condition of man. The eternal relationship between the human being and death is the theme most dealt with by all the arts. Over the centuries this relationship has been represented in thousands of works. The objective presence of death in daily life easily allows the human being to connect to faith.
It would be better to say that we are ready for the inner acceptance of an invisible reality, for our awareness as individuals who internalize an impalpable message, a signal that can change our life forever.
Abstract or ephemeral that for some mysterious reason faith arrives, or disappears forever.
Faith is often like a bulwark that the human being puts before the fear of death, exorcises it with an interior project that he believes to be satisfactory. If for some reason spiritual certainty breaks down then existential drama takes over.
The watercolor subject that I painted is the representation of a Christ inside an upside-down room, the environment is no longer comfortable, as a metaphor for the crushing of certainties.
Within this disordered environment, I painted very evident disturbing symbols that signal the clash between doubts and certainties, between good and evil, between faith and atheism.

Oggi vi presento il secondo dipinto ad acquarello che ho realizzato per illustrare un libro di poesie che tratta sulla condizione esistenziale dell'uomo. Il rapporto eterno tra l'essere umano e la morte è il tema più affrontato da tutte le arti. Nel corso dei secoli questa relazione è stata rappresentata in migliaia di opere. La presenza oggettiva della morte nella vita quotidiana permette facilmente all'essere umano di connettersi alla fede.
Sarebbe meglio dire che siamo pronti all'accettazione interiore di una realtà invisibile, alla nostra presa di coscienza come individui che interiorizzano un messaggio impalpabile, un segnale che può cambiare la nostra vita per sempre.
Astratta od effimera che sia per qualche misteriosa ragione la fede arriva, oppure sparisce per sempre.
Spesso la fede è come un baluardo che l'essere umano antepone alla paura della morte, la esorcizza con un progetto interiore che crede essere soddisfacente. Se per qualche motivo la certezza spirituale si rompe allora subentra il dramma esistenziale.
Il soggetto ad acquarello che ho dipinto è la rappresentazione di un Cristo all'interno di una stanza in soqquadro, l'ambiente non è più confortevole, come metafora della frantumazione delle certezze.
All'interno di questo ambiente in disordine, ho dipinto dei simboli inquietanti molto evidenti che segnalano lo scontro tra dubbi e certezze, tra il bene e il male, tra fede e ateismo.
